Funding Usage
The start-up of our business will range somewhere around $250,000. However, the main cost of the business will be that of the food truck. We plan to use a large portion of any help to secure the food truck and put a good sum down while paying the "rent/lease" throughout business operation. Also, some of the funds will be allocated to help the business through the more crucial beginning months until our sales can cover our operating costs and all the expenses. A major part of our opening advertising will be used in COGs. We plan to offer samples of our products to local business such as schools and hospitals to show our future patrons, our company has what they desire. The licenses and permits haven't been obtained yet, some of the funds may be required to obtain some of those as well after the securing of the food truck itself. That being said, any and all assistance that might be offered would be greatly appreciated and allocated accordingly.

Business Plan
I plan to start as a food truck due to the cost of modifying an establishment would be a much larger start up cost. However, I plan to operate the food truck, spreading our name and desire for our products throughout not just Kenansville, NC, but hopefully the state. We are striving to open a second location, this time a brick and mortar by the end of our 2nd year operations. In doing so, we will not only build sales having another location, but will maintain the truck for any catering events or fairs and such. Within the third year, we are hoping to have 2 brick and mortar establishments, one in Kenansville, and the other in Wallace, NC. After plans go well, and the business has provided enough funding for the food truck to be completely paid for, we will consider opening another establishment but upgrading to a restaurant offering meals for different hours around the middle to end of the fourth year, focusing on our patrons and the workers who helped get us there. I'm not a wealthy person. However, I am striving to support our community by providing a place where people can come to enjoy themselves and the products they get while being treated like "family" with dignity and respect. This doesn't just apply to the patrons we will serve, but those who will join me in this endeavor serving those people and making them a part of "our family." Our business will be one that always treats people with respect and fairness, showing them they are appreciated and necessary while providing quality products made fresh all the time. I have worked in the food service industry and customer service industry a long time. There have been many times where the visions of a company change diverting their focus from those they serve and those that have helped them reach their success; this company will Not be another one of those.

Self Identified Competition
Our top 3 competitors would be McDonalds, Hwy 55, and 2 food trucks, one is Something Good food truck and the other I'm not sure of the name, but they aren't direct competition as they only serve tacos and a certain few other offerings not in relation to the products we will offer. McDonalds is really the only competitor we need to worry about as for the breakfast hours. They offer some of the same products, but we don't believe they will be offering the same freshness and quality as we do, nor will they offer all the menu items we offer. Also, the service they provide will not compare to the dedication we show to our patrons. Hwy 55, McDonalds and the Something Good food truck will be competition for the lunch hours, as they offer some menu items that differ from ours but because of their notoriety, it will take some work to obtain their customers. However, through our superior products always being fresh and our impeccable service we will provide, we believe this is not an obstacle we aren't able to overcome. Also, Something Good only does business from 11am-2pm est. Our hours of operation will be 6am-3pm. As stated previously, our company will ensure we provide homemade or fresh products. Many of these products we hope to incorporate local farms and vendors items into our menu products. This will allow us to keep fresh products and provide quality items. Also, our company will treat everyone as "family." Whether an associate of the company or a patron, everyone will be treated with dignity and respect and know they are appreciated at all times. We also believe offering certain specials from time to time will help as well as incentives to repeat customers and those who serve others such as teachers, first responders, military.
