Phoenix Rising Intervention Services Inc 85-3792929 | Government Grant Application

Phoenix Rising Intervention Services Inc | Application Preview

Phoenix Rising Intervention Services Inc. is applying for government grants to support its counseling services for clients who cannot afford them. The funding will specifically target programs in addiction treatment, support for battered women, and jail treatment initiatives, aiming to cover operational costs through the end of 2021 and into mid-2022.

The organization has established multiple referrals and is focused on aiding the lower socio-economic population by providing comprehensive services tailored to their needs. They emphasize the importance of funding by highlighting the detrimental effects on the community when these vulnerable groups do not receive adequate support.

Phoenix Rising does not view other service providers as direct competitors due to the high demand for their services, indicating that their capacity to assist is significant in addressing the community's challenges. They differentiate themselves from larger organizations like Preferred Family and Compass Health by prioritizing the quality of care over the quantity of clients served. Their approach involves personalized engagement with each client, holding them accountable while empowering them to overcome their circumstances and implement necessary changes in their lives.

The funds would go to pay our counselors for clients services when clients are unable to afford the service. This includes: addiction work, battered womens program and a jail treatment program. This should cover the rest of 2021 and half of 2022.

  • Business Plan

We have multiple referrals already we are just trying to get funding to assist with our lower socio-economical population. We would like to provide wrap around services for our clients involved in our various programs Investors should invest in us because we are serving a population that if not served causes more damage to the community.

  • Self Identified Competition

I don't feel we have competitors, there are enough addicts and battered women to serve in our area to go around. But if I was going to speak about any differences I would say that we are smaller than Preferred family , compass health and other competitors and we do not have major financial backing. We value quality of services over quantity served. We want to make a real difference, what we as an industry have been doing is not working, so why do we keep doing it? We like to engage each client individually, helping them to rise above their situation while still holding them accountable for their behaviors so they can grow and make needed changes.
