State of Jefferson Potable Water | Application Preview
The State of Jefferson Potable Water is seeking government grants to support its growth in response to high demand for bulk drinking water. The applicant aims to purchase a new 3000-gallon potable water truck and hire additional employees. Funds will be allocated to improve existing equipment, including upgrading hoses and adding a new food-grade pump.
In the business plan, the applicant highlights personal investment in the venture based on the increasing need for water delivery services. They intend to maintain low overhead costs and reinvest profits into the business for future truck purchases. The company, State of Jefferson Potable Water LLC, is set to launch this year with ambitions to expand the fleet.
The applicant emphasizes the urgency for funding by noting the surging demand and rising prices for water. They express confidence in their ability to manage and scale the business effectively, stating that greater capacity (up to ten trucks) would allow for continuous service.
The competitive landscape includes local competitors such as Marie's Water Delivery, Wolfhound Water, and Affordable Water Delivery. However, the applicant believes their brand holds a strong position in the market due to a focus on high-quality, food-grade standards. Furthermore, they plan to differentiate their service by conducting monthly water quality testing through Neilson Research Corp, setting them apart from other water delivery services in Southern Oregon and enhancing their commitment to sanitation.

Business Plan
I have invested my personal resources due to high demand for water. I plan to work hard, long days delivering water. I'm going to keep my overhead low and put profit back into the business to buy another larger truck. I will start State of Jefferson Potable Water LLC this year. I'll buy more trucks. Water is in high demand. My truck is beautiful and makes high return quickly. Water pricing is rising and through the roof. I'm a strong, intelligent man who does what he says. If I had ten trucks, they'd all be working none stop.
