Trish Franks School of Riding | Application Preview
Trish Franks School of Riding is seeking government funds to support its operations during the ongoing Corona-19 pandemic. Currently, the riding school is facing zero revenue due to restrictions preventing customers from riding. The business anticipates a return to normalcy by mid-summer.
The school is one of the largest in Williamson County and envisions that, as the crisis eases, families will be eager to engage in physical activities, such as volunteering on the farm while their children take riding lessons. The school welcomes students from all economic backgrounds, including those on the Autism Spectrum and with Special Learning Needs.
The application emphasizes the importance of funding by highlighting the school’s commitment to providing farm life experiences to families who may not have access otherwise. In terms of competition, the school notes that Brownland Farm has discontinued its lesson program, while Camwood Farm caters to elite riders, making it inaccessible for families with limited budgets. Old Hillsboro Manor Farm serves a general audience but has a lower riding population.
Trish Franks School of Riding's competitive advantages include a strong emphasis on safety, well-trained lesson horses, and extensive experience in teaching and riding. The family-run business prides itself on outstanding service and excellent animal care, setting it apart from competitors in the region.
