Maynila LLC | Application Preview
Maynila LLC is applying for government grants to recover from income losses due to Covid-19 and to secure additional funding for marketing efforts. As the only Filipino Asian food chain in the area, the company aims to enhance its community presence, which has been limited by a lack of capital for aggressive marketing. The grant will support the establishment of a food truck to participate in various local events, thereby increasing visibility and sales.
The business plan involves using the food truck to attend Lane County Events, which is expected to facilitate growth. Maynila Filipino Cuisine has been operating for nearly eight years and has garnered a loyal customer base primarily through word of mouth, which serves as effective marketing. The application emphasizes the company's commitment to the community and positions the grant not just as a means of support for the business but also as a beacon of hope for minority women business owners.
In terms of competition, Maynila faces other food chains, including Chinese, Hawaiian, and fast-food options. However, its competitive edge lies in its unique culinary offerings. While many fast-casual options provide quick service, Maynila differentiates itself with a distinctive blend of Filipino flavors, influenced by Chinese and Spanish cuisines, which it seeks to convey to customers.
