The applicant emphasizes their determination as a 27-year-old mother of three, who has been self-employed since 2018. The pandemic served as a catalyst for rebuilding the brand, leading to a significant upgrade from a home workspace to a 1,600-square-foot location.
The applicant highlights a commitment to community support by mentoring aspiring makeup artists, showing a dedication to empowering others while pursuing their career. They do not see their competitors as adversaries but rather as collaborators aiming for mutual success. Funding Usage
I will use this funding to pay the rent/lease up for 6 months at my retail space. Purchase more on hand inventory, plan a mannequin tour to follow up with a trip to Atlanta this past week where I styled 27 mannequins in 2 days for a store front owner. I will also purchase the final equipment needed to complete the facial room in my space, steamer, towel warmer, woods lamp, and facial and waxing supplies.

Business Plan
In the next 5 years, I plan to grow my business by not only adding a new line of services- for skin care and skin care products. I am a 27 year old mother of 3 who has been working Fulltime for myself since 2018, the pandemic did slow me down but it also gave me the motivation I needed to rebuild this brand stronger than ever. I have successfully been able upgrade my work space from home to a 350 sf space (oct. 2020-july 2021/) to currently a 1600sf space which I invested my all into. Investors should invest in me because I am HUNGRY for this. Being able to help others also with jobs in my new space, I am always the mentor needed for aspiring makeup artists. I have allowed 3 highschool students a lifetime of mentorship while they pursue a career in this field. I am every piece of worthy when it comes to you investing.

Self Identified Competition
When speaking about competitors, I never find myself in competition with anyone if anything I try to see everybody winning just as much as myself. What makes me different from competitors is I am risking it all. If I do not continue to be successful, I have children depending on me and mentees looking up to me.
