Tau Beta Eta Fraternity Inc. | Application Preview
Tau Beta Eta Fraternity Inc. is seeking government grants to enhance their community programs and cover essential operating costs. Currently self-funded, the organization faces limitations in their ability to expand services, which they aim to improve with additional resources. Their business plan focuses on recruiting new members to increase community service capacity and eventually establish a shelter or transitional home for youth in need.
The fraternity believes that funding should be viewed as an investment in the future of individuals and communities they serve. Their mission centers on identifying community needs and working towards gradual improvements. They emphasize collaboration rather than competition, expressing pride in serving alongside other organizations that share similar goals.
What sets Tau Beta Eta apart is their community-focused philosophy. They prioritize internal support among members to better serve the wider community. Rather than viewing people as struggling, they approach individuals as deserving of assistance to reach their potential. The fraternity positions itself as a catalyst for positive change, committed to fostering transformation and readiness to undertake what is necessary to make a difference.

Funding Usage
We will use the funds to put back into our programs that will help more people than we have been in the last two years. Since we are self funded right now, our ability to do more than we like and hope for is limited. It will also pay for overhead such as utilities.

Business Plan
I plan to grow with the induction of new members which will allow for more hands to do more works in our communities. We will also like to eventually open a shelter or transition home for youth and young adults that are in need. I would not see it as an investment in my organization, but as an investment into the future of our people and the communities that we service. They are the reason we are seeking funding because what we have is not enough to do all that we wish to do for them. Our mission is to discern the needs of our communities and rebuild from them one day at a time. Your funds will be helping the people we love and want to see in a better situation than they are in right now.

Self Identified Competition
In my eyes there are none. I don't do this to be competitive. I do this to be a blessing to others. Those who are already doing this, I am proud to be serving alongside them all. As I had mentioned, we are a Community Service based Co-ed Fraternity. We start by helping one another within before we venture out into the community. We are different because we see the world differently. We don't see people as being poor or down. We see them as needing a hand up to get back to where they need to be. Our organization is merely a stepping stone to the people we serve so that they can be a better version of themselves. We encourage, invite, and promote change. We are the ones who will change the things we want to see happen. It will take time, but we're ready and willing to do what's needed. It's what we're meant to do.
