This family's corporate business has been around for about 30 years and experienced great success with growth year after year and was generating approximately 1million in revenue when his health was good. Production was cut in half a few years ago because of health issues and aging. There were many investment opportunities that he was approached with throughout the years, but didn't believe in having partners because it "caused problems". The founder (grandfather) also didn't have any employee's because he believed in had work, greed and a family to support. Because of his decision to not take on any partners over the years, basically left the business up for grabs up until a few months ago. Luckily for me, I was the only one in the family with an entrepreneurial mindset and accepted the opportunity. Funding will be used to establish a new foundation in a different state to pick up where they left off, but modernize the business and enhance marketing. The only family member that knew the business as much as the founder will be providing full support and mentorship until he feels that all customers, production and future business plan will meet my grandfathers expectations. After great preparation of understanding the business model, we feel very confident that we're ready to launch and exceed expectations.

We will continue to provide excellent service to our current customers and look for new business regularly. We also plan to market much more than in the past. In year 3, after we retain a strong foundation, we will be reconnecting with old customers and providing repair parts for cargo containers to US and international repair shops in ports. We have a long history with some of the biggest trucking companies in the country that we will continue to work with and with our new marketing strategies, we plan on adding many more.

Self Identified Competition
A few months ago as we were preparing for new launch we did a research study on our competitors. We had the USTA small business development center see if there was anyone that had a business model comparable to ours, and after two weeks of research, their team couldn't find anyone comparable and we feel that's why we've been so successful over the years. With the way our business model is structured and the fact that it was founded by my grandfather and was never shared with anyone, has us still being the leader in specialty repair parts for trucking companies.
