  • Funding Usage

I need to invest in more advertisement, and staff, and more merchandising. I need to get into the highest plan that spocket has to offer and that is $1,000 a year. If I had the best plan then I can provide better higher-priced items to my customers. Also, I'm not utilizing Facebook's ad program to its highest potential because I don't have that much money to invest. I also need staff to work full time in social media to help promote store awareness. I would like to hire full time staff at $15.00 per hour Mon thru Fri. I would like to hire one person full time to run the social media compaigns and advertisements. I can train them myself because I do this myself. Hiring someone to do this would free up more time to work on the business. I would also like to hire someone to help write professional descriptions for all of the merchandise and create content for the website. Two employees should be plenty for now. I know I can get the business to support all three of us (myself and two other employees) within a year. $100,000 would cover myself, and two employess, and the proposed business excpenses such as monthly fees and advertising expenses. $100,000/12=$8,333.33. I know I can get my business to produce over $8,000 per month. I'm already working hard to acheive this plan but with your help it can all happen faster and I can get more people off of unemployement. The more people I can employ the better for everyone. And so far, everyone I employ can work from home. So if there is another outbreak (Heaven forbid) our crew wouldn't be affected because the business is online.

  • Business Plan

In the next five years, the business should be ready to rent or buy a physical location. Not everyone shops or lives online like I do. There are plenty of people that still perfer to work outside of home and who like to shop outside of home. When I open physical locations I create more jobs for people and thus doing my part in repairing the economy. Yes, my business is a dropshipping business for now, but I can easily order the same products to be sold in person in 5 years. I have the knoweldge and experience to educate and train all employees to work online because I raised Alley's Boutique from the ground up. I don't need help because I don't know how to do something. I need help because I have so much work to do and there are lots of talented individuals who would love an opportunity like the one I am presenting. To work a normal full time job from home. And, if someone doesn't appear for work, I can cover it without affecting the business until I find their position covered. My boutique has the potential for great success because the products I sell can't be easily found on Amazon. My products are cute, stylish, well-made, I sell the good stuff. I have more leaway on how much I can charge per item because customers can't compare my prices with my competitors.

  • Self Identified Competition

Amazon, Wal-Mart, Macy's. My shop sells the good stuff and I try to sell at fair value. I try not to go too cheap because I don't want to be a dollar market. I am also not a luxury store that sells million dollar anything. I am a boutique. The definition of a boutque is a shop that sells items not usually found in generic stores. For example, I don't sell Garniers Fructis, a commonbrand name household product that can be found in any of the 3 competitors stores. Instead I sell something called D24K. I wonderful skincare line that is a bit pricey but its worth the cost because it actually works to revive and cleanse the skin. I'm priced like Macy's because they sell good stuff but they are not necessarily selling the million dollar watch. My business is different from other competitors because I sell unique, fun, and not so easy to find items that are well-made and fairly priced. I also offer free shipping no matter what to any US locations. I cover the shipping costs. I try to find products that are already offering free shipping from their merchants, but I don't find them too much because I also try and find items that don't take too long to ship. Customers are willing to wait 2 weeks for a unique item, but any longer than that and I lose a sell. Some of my products show up within 1-3 business days, and other times it shows up 7-14 business days. I try to not sell products that take any longer than that.
