Funding Usage
We plan to operate the business 100% debt free and therefore can only grow as fast as the capital. We will use funding to buy equipment to operate the business and set up an efficient operation working towards having equipment to create a warehouse for producing a frozen food line and a truck to distribute the food.

Business Plan
We plan to start by vending and catering to start generating capital for expanding our equipment. Once we get all of the equipment we need we will start reaching out to grocery stores to sell a frozen food line. The mission being buy one feed many. We will also look to have land in the future to grow our ingredients on. My husband who has been a chef for over 10 years and I have had great success with our products in the past and are bringing them back as an official business. We recognized the gap between work and mission. We had the vision to combine the two, work to generate money to help people. Tito, one of the owners is from the Philippines, he grew up on the streets hungry, we wanted to come up with an idea that would one day be able to help children on the streets in the Philippines and we decided to start local in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where we live, helping people here, and expand out. Our goal is to do this 100% debt free to avoid unnecessary expenses and risk.

Self Identified Competition
Matthew 25 is a local organization that serves the community, runs as a business, and is focused on feeding people healthy food. Local Burrito is a local food vendor that has expanded from selling food directly to people to having a frozen food line in grocery stores. Island Vybz, also sells a unique food through vending and catering. Matthew 25's business style is a little different, we would be more of the focus of a for profit business in order to generate as much business as we can, and then from that put it back into people in need, and the amount of people we want to connect with and the amount of different ways we are looking to serve people is endless so we wouldn't have the same set up but the idea is very similar. Local Burrito closely mirrors the business style we are implementing, to grow into frozen food in grocery stores, he is also our mentor for this process, we just would not be selling similar products. Island Vybz sells unique food and does vending and catering, they would be one of our biggest competitors up front because of their professionalism and product however their product is from Jamaica and ours is from the Philippines and nobody sells our product here or in the frozen food industry.
