If I had the funding, I would keep all my employees, hire more, expand hours and rid my patients of illness, keep them out of hospitals, increase their education and quality of life and extend their lives. I would be consistent in my quality of care and continue to spend more time with them and listen. I would practice preventative care. I would be proactive as always on the front line of medicine.

Other physicians think a lot of my practice because they keep coming back. I am dedicated Family Practice Doctor that loves to teach and mentor. Before this pandemic, we were thriving. I know we were on our way to a better year until the pandemic. We went electronic medical records to help make insurance companies happier.It hurt financially, we finally started getting the billing right. Unfortunately, as a physician , I want to take care of people, not the billing. Things were not getting paid by insurance companies and apparently I had staff at the time that was not appealing. we fixed all of that. Started with improved patient satisfaction and I have always referred to outstanding specialists. I have been around a long time. I need this money to grow the practice where it was trending to go. I want to open up more hours. We are still so busy on Saturday. I want to increase my staff and services within my clinic. I plan to be open 7 days a week for healthcare needs and hire another physician and reopen til 8pm at least Monday-Friday.I am 200 percent devoted to patient care and teaching. It is something I was called to do. As a first responder, I sincerely hope you consider my application. I am emotionally and financially invested in my patients, staff and family. We have the potential to double our staff, even triple if we can get thru this pandemic and get some relief. Because I will make it happen!!! I have already had many meetings with other physicians and hospitals before this pandemic. They have told me I am setting on a gold mine. I have been a sole proprietor for 38 years. They have told me my office is worth 2 times what it is putting on the books, and they would help me get there. I just think I love my patients and love being a Doctor, I just procrastinated. I went EMR which is hard and money loss on the front end. but we were coming back. Then COVID-19. Doctors are failing.I don't understand it. We are the first responders. Isn't the goal to save people from this virus. We need help! Some patients won't come in even when they call complaining of symptoms. I have to educate my patients and my staff. We r losing visits daily and we are following all TEXAS Guidelines.

I listen to my patients, I spend more time with them. you can get your labs, X-rays , bone density, pain machine, manipulation, IV'S All in same location. We also have not shortened our hours and are trying to keep people employed.
