Tropic Fresh Juice Bar | Application Preview
Tropic Fresh Juice Bar is submitting a government grant application to secure funding aimed at creating job opportunities in Helena-West Helena, Arkansas, particularly for local youth and young adults. The funding will primarily be used to hire additional staff and maintain a supply of high-quality fruits and vegetables, contributing to healthier eating options in the community.
The business intends to grow by opening a new location in the Delta region, which currently lacks both employment opportunities and healthy food choices. The plan includes extending operating hours to better serve the local population by offering a wider variety of health-focused products.
Tropic Fresh Juice Bar presents a compelling case for the funding, emphasizing the growing demand for healthy food options in an area facing diet-related health challenges. With minimal competition—primarily from a tea shop that does not offer smoothies or organic juices—Tropic Fresh Juice Bar positions itself as a unique provider of organic, plant-based products. This competitive edge is enhanced by the company's active involvement in the community, including an annual scholarship program for local students, which highlights its commitment to community welfare.

Funding Usage
Funding will be used first of all, to help in hiring more staff to help provide jobs for the community. Helena-West Helena Arkansas does not have many job opportunities for the youth and young adults. I want to use funding so that I can provide more jobs, while also continuing to purchase high quality fruit and vegetables to provide a healthy option for the community.

Business Plan
I plan on growing my business by expanding to a new location that needs jobs and healthy options of eating within the Delta region. I also plan on adding additional health options for the community to benefit from. Finally, I plan on hiring more staff so that I can stay open for longer hours to serve the community. Invertors should invest in me because I am a healthy option that is a need within the Delta region of Arkansas. There is very little competition and it is a growing demand within the community to provide a more healthy option for this region. People within this region suffer from diet related illnesses in most cases, and that is due in part because there is no healthy option here. I am now that option, and investors could greatly benefit from tapping into a new market.
-
Self Identified Competition
I have no real competitor in this region. There is one tea shop in the community, that sales healthy teas, but this company does not sale smoothies, organic juice's, or the variety of other health options I sale. What makes me different from m competitors is that 98% of my products are organic and plant based. I also provide a variety of different heathy food options that people can get on the go. I am also very much active within the community, so much so, that my business gave scholarship out this past year to an outstanding student graduating. We plan on giving out a scholarship every year.
