  • Funding Usage

Most importantly this would help my company back on its feet financially since the covid 19 shut down. I would be able to bring my employees back right away. I can recover the food spoilage that I had with fudge and homemade candies. I would be able to catch up on payment to my nature center maintenance cost. I would like to enlarge my nature center and make it more efficient and desirable with a better snake habitat and goat habitat. I have some electrical problems in the attic that I need repaired and a leak in my metal roof that needs repaired as well.

  • Business Plan

I plan to expand my business in the next 5 years the following ways: I have schools starting to visit us with their field trip students. They are very interested in the gem mining, goats and our nature center. I would like to expand our nature center with a more appealing and efficient snake, fish, goat and turtle habitat. If I could do this, I would feel more confident in reaching out to schools and would be more able to accommodate them. My business is located in a tourist area and I would love to be able to have the room and equipment to educate our visitors and school children. I want to have a professional website. I hope that investors would want to invest in my business because: I am located in the beloved tourist area of Slade, Kentucky (aka Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge). Tourist, locals and school children love our Wildthings of Kentucky and what I have to offer. I want to be able to represent Eastern Kentucky in a beautiful modern way. Job opportunities are very scarce in our area. I am able to employ 5 employees and a few contractors. I am educating the tourist, school children and locals about our Kentucky Snakes, fish and turtles. In an area of limited entertainment, I am able to provide an inexpensive form of entertainment for tourist, school children and local children. My nature center only exhibits fish, turtle and snakes indigenous to the state of Kentucky!

  • Self Identified Competition

Our only competitor would be Ky Reptile Zoo. No other competitors within 100 miles or more. We are different from our competitors in the following ways: We only have snakes, turtles and fish that are indigenous to Kentucky. We are responsible with our open hours. We have gem mining and goats and Kentucky's most interesting and hilarious public restroom without a doubt!
