Kheya Pilates | Application Preview
Kheya Pilates is seeking government grants to finance the setup of a new Pilates studio within an existing garage. The funding will support essential renovations, including the installation of a new wall and a heat pump for proper insulation and comfort.
The business plan focuses on attracting clients through professional referrals initially, with an aim to expand into a larger space within five years. This expansion would allow for more classes and additional instructors.
Kheya Pilates highlights its long-standing experience in the Medical Massage and Pilates industry since 2004, emphasizing the positive impact on clients' quality of life through pain relief and rehabilitation.
While facing competition from established studios like Thrive Pilates and Therafit Pilates, as well as personal trainers at gyms, Kheya Pilates believes its unique advantage lies in its owner’s extensive background in Medical Massage and specialized rehabilitation training. These skills enable efficient pain relief and enhanced physical function for clients.

Business Plan
I will start by gaining new clientele through professional referrals; in five years I will be able to expand my studio to a larger space making available classes and providing more instructors the opportunity to teach Pilates. I have been in the Medical Massage and Pilates industry since 2004 and have helped numerous people heal from injury, rehabilitate and gain strength to function at a higher level without pain. My industry makes a difference in the quality of life of people one by one.

Self Identified Competition
There are two larger pilates studios in the Boise area that provide one on one as well as class format pilates instruction: Thrive Pilates and Therafit Pilates. I also see personal trainers at gyms to be a competitor because they offer one on one physical instruction as well. Because of my Medical Massage background and the specific rehabilitation continuing education training I have had over the last 16 years, I have specific skills that quickly relieve pain and help someone’s body function at their maximum capacity…examples are Jones Strain Counterstrain trigger point therapy and Neuromuscular therapy techniques.
