Ice Creative Entertainment LLC | Application Preview
Ice Creative Entertainment LLC is seeking funding to revitalize their business following the disruptions caused by COVID-19, which halted their national tours and summer performances. The grant will be allocated to hire two new employees, expand their warehouse, and invest in marketing and trade shows to attract new business.
Their business plan focuses on growth through an expanded range of touring shows and themed experiences, while adapting to new audience needs post-pandemic. The addition of a full-time office manager and a production assistant is intended to accelerate recovery and enhance business activities. The company also plans to engage in community outreach through social campaigns and offer discounted or free educational series related to their shows.
The application argues for funding approval by highlighting their pre-COVID international success in innovative family entertainment, specifically their unique synthetic ice skating shows combined with theatrical elements. Prior to the pandemic, they employed over 45 residents in Tennessee and 75 national performers annually, and the funding would help sustain and grow this workforce.
Ice Creative Entertainment identifies their competition as large entities like Disney On Ice and Cirque du Soleil, noting that while they operate on a larger scale, Ice Creative has begun to penetrate markets previously dominated by these companies. Their competitive advantage lies in performing in smaller cities where larger competitors have less presence. They can set up their productions quickly, often in just a day, allowing them to operate in venues that larger companies cannot access.

Funding Usage
We will use this funding to restructure and rebuild our business after COVID-19 halted our national tour as well as all summer performances. We will use the money to add 2 employees (giving more jobs during this time), expanding our warehouse site, and most importantly gaining new business through trade shows, marketing, etc. so we can turn business around post COVID.

Business Plan
We plan to grow by expanding our touring shows as well as themed experiences while continuing to research and implement the new normal for our audience. We will add staff (creating two new jobs) one full time office manager and a production assistant to be able to speed our "recovery"from COVID and gain more traction and business. Lastly, we will be implementing more community outreach with social campaigns, and heavily discounted or free educational series on our shows. Investors should invest in us because pre COVID our business had entered international success in bringing new types family entertainment to the table. We provide and escape from reality and are one of the only production companies in the world that can provide synthetic ice skating shows on stages mixed with theatrical elements. Our niche market has grown to international success. We normally employ 45+ TN residents and 75+ national performers each year. The investment will help us to continue to grow.

Self Identified Competition
Disney On Ice, Cirque Du Soliel, and Cirque Dreams. They all do what we do but on a larger scale. We have started to take over markets they have played in the past. We perform in smaller capitals and cities than our competition and do not have much competition in B and C cities. We can install our productions in a couple hours an be out in the same day which in return our competitors need 3-5 days to do what we do in a day. Most importantly, we can play venues that these large multi million dollar companies can not.
