ACJ GOODS LLC 85-3344263 | Government Grant Application

ACJ GOODS LLC | Application Preview

ACJ GOODS LLC is seeking government grants to fund various aspects of its business growth and development. The proposed funding will be allocated towards purchasing commercial property, acquiring products and labels for the next couple of years, establishing a domain and website, and creating soap starter kits. Furthermore, the business plans to invest in workshops to enhance skills in soap-making, web design, content editing, and professional writing. Additionally, they intend to hire an advertising agent or acquire necessary software and resources for effective marketing. Part of their community engagement involves providing soap donations to shelters and hosting soap-making workshops.

Over the next five years, ACJ GOODS LLC has ambitious goals that include securing a permanent business location, offering courses, and developing youth programs, as well as partnering with well-known brands such as Target and Walmart. They aim to conduct community workshops and forums focused on skincare and black history while launching a new product line. Collaborating with other small black-owned businesses for pop-up shops and creating trademarked products are also key objectives. The business envisions developing courses related to writing and web design, with plans to collaborate with schools to support students.

The request for funding emphasizes a desire for support that does not involve investors, highlighting a preference for loans and grants.

In terms of competition, the owner states that their main competitor is themselves, focusing on personal growth and development. The business emphasizes a mindset of viewing failure as a learning opportunity rather than a setback, which they believe sets them apart. Their commitment lies not only in selling products but also in educating customers, with the aim of building a global brand and fostering entrepreneurship.

  • Self Identified Competition

The only competitor that is visible to me is MYSELF. I compete with no one but who I was the day before. To do just that, I must have access to capital, resources, knowledge and remain consistent, creative, and patient. I see every day as an opportunity to grow and develop and become and do better than the previous day. I view failure as an opportunity and NOT catastrophe. This mentality will always differentiate me from the person I was the day before and others on the same path. No matter what trials and disruptions present themselves, I will overcome them. My dedication is to selling individuals products or services but, most importantly, educating them on my products and services so that they too may be successful and, most importantly, knowledgeable. I believe and thrive on being a global company and household name and breed leaders and entrepreneurs.
