TLC Design & Decor | Application Preview
TLC Design & Decor is seeking government grants to acquire or rent a building for an event center and secure working capital for operations. The business aims to address the decline of local event centers due to COVID-19, as there is currently a shortage of venues for events in the area. By establishing an event center, TLC Design & Decor expects to generate revenue through venue rentals and event décor.
The proposed center would not only cater to weddings but also serve as a community hub for meetings and local events, enhancing community engagement. With over 15 acres available for development, the business plans to contribute to the local economy, create job opportunities, and increase overall income in this rural area.
In terms of competition, the business identifies several local venues but highlights its unique offerings, such as flexibility in event types and the potential to host farmers markets and community dances. The plan emphasizes the need for a dedicated space for local residents and suggests that the center could stimulate economic growth and provide ongoing employment for community members.
