The organization emphasizes the importance of early education, targeting resources at children from 3rd to 8th grade to ensure they develop critical skills and reading proficiency.
PGD Innovations sees itself as a catalyst for change, believing that investing in their mission equates to changing lives and breaking generational cycles. They aim to prepare youth not only for professional success but also for community involvement and giving back. In a competitive landscape that includes institutions like Youth.Gov and the Boys and Girls Club of America, PGD Innovations differentiates itself by focusing on younger youth and providing diverse resources that cater to various career paths.

Business Plan
Our 5 year plan to is to create more resources for youth and their families. To this we will continue to produce more books in our book series “The Adventures of Sophie and Olivia” as well as continue to interview more career professional to highlight on our podcast “What’s Next Gen XYZ”. In addition to these things we plan to increase our presence in local communities by partnering with local non-profit organizations to host community back to school, food and career fair type events. We also plan to market business and services at various Scholastic branded events so that we can begin making a presence in public schools across the state and beyond. With these relationships and tracking we will create online programs that can be utilized by youth to continue to expand their knowledge as they prepare for the next phase after high school. I grew up in a military family. Both of my parents were in the Air Force so naturally when I was born, I lived my first several years of life overseas. When we finally relocated back to the states after some years, we moved to a street called Prince George Drive in Virginia, where I for the most part, grew up. That street had significant meaning for me because it was the place where at the age of 12, I dreamed of one day doing something "Big" with my life. Not really knowing what, but I just knew that when I grew up, I would be sure to do something that made a difference in the lives of others. You see eventually I ended up working as a consultant in the field of technology learning various software systems and helping clients implement them within their organizations. This was how I ended up working on a major construction project as the system administrator in Boston. That project was so large that engineers and architects from various places all over the world were brought in to assist. I decided to attend one of the many Friday happy hours when during that time I had an opportunity to get to know many of them. It was funny with every conversation there was a re-occurring theme. Just about everyone had bachelor’s degrees that had nothing to do with their current career. Every story sounded so much like mine and how so many of these people took educational career paths that were not ultimately what they were doing in present day. It was then I realized how more often than not, there wasn't guidance for youth about all their career opportunities. Every person I spoke with that night all commented that if they'd only known when they were younger jobs like their current ones existed, they could have saved so much time and money. That's where I got the idea to start a nonprofit to do just that for our younger generation. By developing resources for youth to expose them to as many diverse careers both traditional and non-traditional. I want to show them all the opportunities available to them in the areas of STEM and the various types of entrepreneurship careers just to name a few industries. The more kids we expose, the more we can prevent them from taking the path of so many, obtaining needless degrees in fields that are not their ultimate purpose. Investing in PGD is not just simply giving money to another organization. Investing in PGD means that you are changing the lives of youth today one person at a time. One change or course correction in just one person’s life means that the rest of that family blood line is impacted and changed as well. Our goal is to creak as many generational curses as possible and establish in your youth today a passion to not just create generational wealth but to pay it forward and find ways to give back into their communities as well. The only way to get to solving the problems of today is by paying attention to our youth the answer for tomorrow. This is why the company is named PGD for Prince George Drive to serve as a reminder if every kid that grew up on their own proverbial Prince George Drive wanting to make a difference. A donation to us means you supply us with the resources to make their dreams a reality.

Reading and the ability to obtain information is critical in the ability to be professional successful whether on the college track or something more vocational. This is where we place our focus, our resources and materials that are provided for youth are relevant and targeted for youth form 3rd grade to 8th grade the time period which is most critical in setting a young person up for success. As you review any competitive college or universities admission criteria, they are wanting more and more intellectually diverse students that set themselves apart. It is not just about high-test scores but the student’s ability to demonstrate how well-rounded they are. We aim to provide those resources to arm them with the information to begin at an earlier developmental age exploring their strengths, interests and tools to develop professional skills earlier. Whether that be to start a business venture, work toward earning a certification in a particular area or preparing to competitively enter into the next level of academia (college).
