Funding Usage
I plan to use the money to start another business. I’ve already purchased a camper which I plan to turn into a mobile coffee shop. I need funding to purchase equipment to get it up and running. I will need an espresso machine, refrigerator, various appliances and things needed to pass the health inspection. I’ve researched the total costs of everything and this money will give me a way to open my second business at the age of 15. I know this would be a great usage of funding because I have business experience already and it is a unique idea. As a young entrepreneur, I am one of the future business owners in Kansas.

Business Plan
In the next 5 years I will continue to grow by upgrading equipment and spending more money on advertising. I’m also really excited to hire my first employee or two. Investors should award me the funding because I am the future of Kansas. As a young entrepreneur, my community is extremely proud of me and continues to voice how they look forward to seeing my business develop. I have won 3 young entrepreneur awards. Two at the county level and one at state. I think this shows how passionate I am about business.

Self Identified Competition
In my area, there are not many competitors. The closest competitors that I have researched are near the Kansas City area. This business type is also not over saturated. Obviously, there are many food trucks but not many who are this type of coffee shop. My business is different from others because it will be easy for it to be moved to different locations. I also want to make it as environmentally friendly as possible. I will use paper straws and biodegradable cups.
