Funding Usage
This is a new business , the funding will help be get up and running . The funding will go towards the onsite medical office. When operating a facility full of children with diabetes , it is extremely important that they dose for their insulin. At my center i offer Insulin on site to gives the parents a piece of mind know that their child has access to medicine in the event they forget their at home. The Funding will also go toward the food for the children while they are in our care. Along with building funds such as electricity , gas and rent for the building.

there are over 210,000 children/adolescents who has been diagnosed with diabetes. The thing that people don't realize until they experience it is , children become diagnosed with diabetes struggle EVERYDAY with feeling abnormal compared to other children/youth, they fight with suicidal thoughts because they feel like dying is better then living with their new condition , they fight have the "why me?" syndrome. Most of all , they feel like they are the only ones with the condition. That's where i set in. I am here to provide them with center that will take all of that away . In 5 yrs i plan on expanding my locations. I would like my main location (headquarters) to stay stationed in Georgia , and open other locations in Vermont, Hawaii, Maine and Alaska. those are the state with the highest cases of diabetes. This Business was just created 4 months ago. I know it has the ability to be extremely successful . I am new to the state of Georgia so i am trying to gain all of the resources and funding as possible to help get my business off of the ground. My son was diagnosed with diabetes 4 years ago when he was 7yrs old. I know all about struggles of having a diabetic child ,so i desperately want to helps families and other children like mine .

Self Identified Competition
The best part about my business is , there are no competitors. My life experiences allow me to create a business that is one of a kind . It encourages my to hear people said " I've never heard of anything like that"! Everyone is familiar with the YMCA. this is one of the most successful youth centers in the United States . My youth center is similar ,however it's for Diabetic's only . My center provides Nutrition classes to help the kids manage their diets, it provides weekly educational classes for families to help teach them how to take care and mange their child/youth's diabetes. My center has sports such as basketball, baseball,football, track/field and swim.Our sport are the only thing that is open to the public. We participate in community service/ events. the offer weekly group sessions so that the children/youth can come together and have open discussion about their new lifestyle (diabetes) and how to stay motivated and understand that they are still normal just like everyone else .
