Business Plan
We plan to grow our business by offering our clients a number of extra incentives to refer their friends and family and become our brand ambassadors. We have been using social media outlets to obtain new clients and attract repeat business. We also are beginning to create relationships with local business to help cross promote one another and to team up in an effort to increase the local economic growth. The beauty and fitness industries are economically stable. However, our market share is on the rise with an increase in disposable income as more women join the workforce. Industry trends show that as time becomes more limited, people want to spend their free time getting quality experiences and services all in one location. Customers are more educated and more demanding of quality service. Our market area includes the city of Nashua and surrounding communities. This will include a target population of approximately 50,000-55,000 people who fit our client profile.

Self Identified Competition
As it relates to the fitness side of the house, Pure Barre and Orangetheory are two of our larger competitors. They have a similar concept as it relates to membership, client satisfaction and promoting a healthy lifestyle. However, they are both franchise businesses and do not offer the wide variety of classes we offer at Local Beauty Barre. In addition, they are strictly fitness, and do not offer Salon and Spa services. Innovations is a local Salon & Spa that is similar to ours. They offer almost identical services and pricing but are missing the individualized attention and customer service we provide. They take a very sales-orientated approach to their clients and their employees are required to sell a certain amount of products and services to them. We feel this comes off as "pushy" and we take a much more consultative approach. We provide bonuses to our staff for selling retail products to our guests and give our clients reward points for purchases on products and services. We feel this helps create additional loyalty for future visits. The Local Beauty Barre wants to set itself apart from other businesses that may only offer one or two types of beauty, spa and fitness services. The owners have realized from talking to clients, that they desire all of the services that they are proposing, but the clients remain frustrated because they currently have to travel to many different locations to obtain them. The focus of Local Beauty Barre is to offer a one-stop-shop for all their beauty and fitness needs. There are a number of separate salons, spas and fitness centers in the Nashua area, but none of them are conveniently located under one roof. The owners don’t intend to force their clients to utilize every single service offered, but wish to provide an experience unlike any others in the Southern NH/Northern MA area.
