Harmony Around the World Inc. | Application Preview

Harmony Around the World Inc. is seeking government grants to fund four key projects aimed at fostering cultural connections through music. The first project will involve collaboration with American Indian musicians to create an educational video that will be shared online and in schools across Missouri. The second project focuses on teaming up with Indian musicians to compose a piece for the MSSU Band. The third initiative is a commission from Mexican composer Eduardo Mendez, intended for performance in various educational and professional venues in Missouri. The final project plans for collaboration between composition students in Missouri and those at the University of Cape Town in August 2022.

The organization expects to reach approximately 10,000 individuals per project, totaling around 40,000 people, which will also help increase donations. They aim to expand their board in the next two years, potentially allowing for the initiation of more than four projects annually.

Harmony Around the World’s mission centers on promoting peaceful relationships and educational awareness of diverse, underserved populations through music. By supporting this organization, funders contribute to a more peaceful, knowledgeable, and empathetic global community.
