Walsh Management LLC | Application Preview
Walsh Management LLC is seeking government grants to support the launch of their new cleaning business, Hire My Butler. The funding will be allocated towards marketing efforts and the hiring of employees. The owner plans to utilize equipment and supplies from a previous fitness business that was forced to close due to COVID-19. The marketing strategy includes social media advertising, participation in local fairs, and print advertising.
The business aims to present a unique cleaning service where employees dress and perform their duties with the elegance of a butler, a concept not currently available in the market. This innovative approach has the potential for significant growth and franchising opportunities, contingent on receiving adequate funding.
Despite experiencing setbacks with business closures during the pandemic, the owner expresses a strong determination to succeed. Previous cleaning equipment from the fitness business will be repurposed to create this new venture, emphasizing a commitment to not just rebuild personally, but also to provide employment and enhance the well-being of employees through professional training.
In terms of competition, the cleanup industry largely consists of smaller operators, many of whom may not operate within established economic frameworks. By establishing a structured business model, Walsh Management aims to offer competitive wages and benefits, enhancing the financial security of its employees. The distinctive aspect of training staff to embody the traditional skills of a butler is seen as a compelling selling point, appealing to consumers seeking a premium, affordable cleaning service performed with a touch of class.

Funding Usage
I will use this funding to market my new company, as well as hire employees. I will leverage the equipment and supplies from my fitness business that shut down when we were forced closure due to COVID-19 and could not recover. Marketing via social media ads, registration for local upcoming fairs to promote my business, print advertising. I believe that if I had this small funding I could grow a very successful business. My entire savings have been depleted due to closed fitness business effected by COVID-19. This is my chance to rebound and hire local as well as advertise locally

Business Plan
Our concept is Hire My Butler. A cleaning business where all employees dress and act with the grace and detail of a butler. This concept does not exist, so having someone to clean your house as an actual butler will expand and allow for the hiring of many NJ employees. This concept also has an opportunity to be franchised, if only I had the funding to start it properly. Although two of my business closed due to COVID via the forced closures in the fitness industry, I am NOT giving up. I could have sold all of my cleaning equipment used to sanitize my gyms, however I decided to leverage them a create an entirely new business concept. Imagine training many individuals who work the the home cleaning business a way of upgrading their own personal well being. I have a lot to give, and have already lost most of my savings due to COVID, but I am determined to win.

Self Identified Competition
Home cleaning is very much an individual (who may or may not pay taxes due to the cash business it belongs to). By creating a larger entity I can hire more and bring better net wealth to employees that might not have this opportunity. My competitors are all small business owners. By teaching a home cleaning employee the skills of a old-school butler. Consumers will embrace the good feeling of an individual who cleans a home in a tuxedo. An affordable home cleaning, but performed by a newly skilled and trained butler.
