Kat’s handmade crafts | Application Preview
Kat's Handmade Crafts is seeking government grants to purchase craft supplies, secure storage space, and cover business expenses like marketing.
In her business plan, Kat aims to establish her venture over the next five years, with goals of expanding revenue streams and employing multiple staff members for smooth operations. She envisions partnering with a manufacturer for efficient production.
Kat emphasizes her dedication to her craft, fueled by her love for what she does. As a newly divorced single parent working a full-time job, she finds solace and purpose in crafting, especially during the challenges of the pandemic. Her two children inspire her to pursue her passions.
She recognizes competition from established brands like Home Goods and Bath & Body Works, which started small and grew significantly—an aspiration Kat shares for her business.
What sets her apart is the passion behind her work and the sentimental value her products hold. With 11 years of experience in the medical field, she acknowledges the mental toll the pandemic took on her and how her craft has been a source of healing. Kat believes that with a bit of financial support, she can achieve her goals driven by passion, love, and commitment.
