Fernandez Photographs | Application Preview
Fernandez Photographs is applying for government grants to enhance its business operations. The funding will be allocated towards purchasing additional equipment, such as a small printer for events, advertising initiatives, and compensating models.
The business plan outlines ambitions for the next five years, including establishing a dedicated workspace, setting up a PO box for business correspondence, and assembling a team of editors for efficient photo editing. A structured approach to vendor photography is also part of the plan.
The justification for funding rests on the owner's commitment to long-term business viability, asserting that the venture will remain operational regardless of economic fluctuations. The owner emphasizes a flexible income distribution model that can be negotiated with collaborators.
In terms of competition, Fernandez Photographs acknowledges several local rivals. Mike Peters Photography is recognized for cinematic work but primarily serves a familiar clientele. R&H Photography is noted for its nature photography but lacks a strong focus on portraiture. The Stuntin Selfie Studio provides an all-inclusive setup for customers, yet the owner believes their innovative and collaborative approach to photography, welcoming input from models, distinguishes them in the market.
Overall, Fernandez Photographs aims to leverage its competitive edge through creativity, adaptability, and personalized service, making a compelling case for government grant support.

Business Plan
Within the next five years I will have a house to work out of and a PO box strictly for business mail. I will have a crew of editors to help with simple editing and a whole system for vendor photography. Investors and businesses should invest in me because I will never go out of business. No matter what this business will always be up and running. I am always able to negotiate what percentage of income goes to who and what.

Self Identified Competition
Being a photographer there is many competitions however people don't only look at quality. They also look at pricing and I will have my prices be lower or about average of my nearest competitors as well as having multiple sales. Competitors such as; Mike Peters Photography. He is based in Washington and he does Creative Cinematic Photography and Portraits as well. They are a great husband and wife duo. However they don't seem to stray apart from family and friends much. There is also R&H Photography. I have seen some of their portrait work but it looks that as of now they are doing nature and landscaping photography. The type of photos you would see on a displayed laptop in a Best Buy. Meaning they're a great photographer but I'll be able to handle my own alongside them. The last competitor I believe would be the Stuntin Selfie Studio in the Vancouver Mall. This location, this place, gives everybody the equipment you would see in a studio. The lighting, the background, the props. It has everything you would need and the people, the customers they just have to bring a charged phone and they can take the pictures people go to school to perfect. My business stand out among these three competitors are I am very experimental with my photography and angles and will often ask my models for their ideas as well to make sure we can capture the image that is injected in their head from a Pinterest or Instagram post.
