T and T Full Service Laundromat is seeking government grants to fund renovations and new equipment for its two laundromat locations in Drew and Ruleville, Mississippi. The business aims to cultivate strong customer relationships by prioritizing exceptional service, engaging with the community through events, and leveraging social media for outreach.
The owner emphasizes their determination to succeed and their commitment to improving their hometown community, fueled by their experience as a Disabled-Retired Army Veteran. In a competitive environment with established laundromats in nearby Cleveland, the company's uniqueness lies in its family-owned structure and its mission to address the needs of the community. They plan to enhance their services by adding a game room, transitioning to card-based systems, and introducing dry-cleaning and vending options. Business Plan
I plan to do whatever it takes and to overcome discouragement. I plan to be patient. I will get to know my customers, as well as offer great customer service. I will nurture existing customers and look for new opportunities. I will also use social media, and attend networking events to ensure that my customers are aware of everything that is offered. I will host events, and give back to my community. I will measure what works and refine my approach as I go. T and T Full Service Laundromat feels that investors should invest in me because I am determined. I am individual that opened a business in a town that I grew up in because I want to see change as well as growth in a place that I grew up. I served in the US Military for 16 years, and I am a Disabled-Retired Army Veteran. I left home, and I decided to go back home to give back to my community. We deserve better to, and I am seeking resources to assist me in fulfilling my dream of giving my community something they have never had.

Self Identified Competition
My businesses are located in Drew and Ruleville, Mississippi, which are small rural towns in the Mississippi Delta. My laundromats are the only laundromats in each of those small cities, which are approximately 4 miles apart. My competitors are Bishop Road Laundry, J & M. Two Coin Operated Laundry, and Haven's Cleaners and Laundry, which are all located in Cleveland, MS. Cleveland, MS is located approximately 8-12 miles from both of my establishments. Each of these locations have been in businesses for years and are fully operational and offer services that I do not provide yet. As we have not been in business a year, we are facing a bit of a struggle just to ensure that the bills are paid. Many citizens of both Drew and Ruleville travel to Cleveland, MS to fulfill their laundering needs, because my establishments doesn't provide many services that are offered from my Competitors. T and T Full Service Laundromat is different from competitors because the establishment is family owned, which includes a brother and sister duo, with help from their mother and other family members as well. As mentioned earlier the owners are both from a small town, and the town does not have much to offer for the kids or the adults. T and T is dedicated to providing laundering services for their community, that they have never experienced. On top of laundering services, T and T want to implement a game room, take away the coin-operations--change to card-use, and implement dry-cleaning, vending and snacks, as well as other services. When I left to serve in the military, I was given the opportunity to see better, and I then made it up in my mind that I wanted to take what I had seen and what I know exists-- back home to my community, so that they can experience better also, which lead me to establishing T and T Full Service Laundromat.
