Sky nails | Application Preview
Sky Nails is seeking government grant funding to help alleviate financial strain caused by the pandemic. The salon faces a monthly rent of nearly $4,000, not including utilities, with no discounts from the landlord. The business was forced to close for almost eight weeks, which led to the loss of product inventory, including dipping powders, and increased costs for essential supplies like alcohol and acetone. Due to limited customer appointments and a drop in demand for nail services, income has significantly decreased.
The business plan focuses on survival during this challenging period, with hopes that once the pandemic subsides, customers will return to the salon more frequently. Sky Nails is committed to providing high-quality service to rebuild its customer base.
The request for funding is critical, as the salon is currently two months behind on rent and faces the challenge of paying back this debt within six months, all while operating under restricted customer guidelines. Approval of the funding would support Sky Nails in continuing to serve its community.
The salon competes with others in the area, such as Nails Lounge, Fancy Nails, and City Nails. However, Sky Nails believes its competitive edge lies in the quality of its work, the friendliness of its staff, and its commitment to customer service. The team is dedicated to staying operational and supporting their clientele throughout this tough time.

Business Plan
I’m just hope we will survive through this tough time....when this pandemic is over peoples can go to salon more often and I will give all my customers my best work and this will help the business grow in this little town. Because during pandemic I’m 2 month behind my business rent and I still have to pay back this amount in the next 6 months with less customers due to 10 people guideline. I hope someone can help the small business so we can continue our to be in business and be in service for our customers
