T Franklin Courier & Trucking Logistics LLC is seeking government grant funding to support its growth and operational stability. The funds will be allocated to lease two trucks from LRM Leasing in Dallas, Texas, purchase two van trailers, and cover registration tags for the trucks.
The business has a focused plan to expand gradually, aiming to add new equipment and improve wages for drivers, with a limit of 20 trucks to ensure sustainable growth. The applicant emphasizes its commitment to providing services that competitors might overlook, leveraging a partnership with a freight broker to maintain operations.
To enhance its competitiveness, T Franklin plans to offer drivers a salary of $1,100 per week, which aims to reduce the stress associated with variable pay. In case of truck breakdowns, drivers will still receive $300 weekly to support their financial stability. Additionally, in adverse conditions, drivers may take small loads to mitigate income loss, with deductions managed weekly. This strategy is expected to create a supportive work environment and improve employee retention.

Business Plan
My plan is to grow my company every 6 months. but not to expand over 20 trucks. I believe if I putting my money in newer equipment and better pay for my drivers. I will be doing things that other Trucking companies will not do. I know that I can get this to work. I already have and Freight Broker. And this will keep my Trucks going.
-
Self Identified Competition
All other companies will be a competitor. Will for one thing all my drivers will be on a salary of $1100 a week. this will keep the frustration of pay every week. If the truck they're driving breaks down there still get $300 a week to help them be able to pay some bills or put food on the table. They can also get a small load if stranded in storms and can't work and it will take out of their check by the week.
