Xpress Cheer Allstars | Application Preview
Xpress Cheer Allstars is seeking government grants to facilitate the expansion of their gym, which is currently the only cheer gym in central Maine. They are outgrowing their current space and need financial support to either rent a larger facility or build their permanent gym. The expansion is essential not only for the owner but also for the local athletes, providing them a safe environment to develop their skills.
The funding would be used to acquire more cheer equipment and help accommodate a growing number of athletes. The owner believes that with a larger space, the business can attract more participants, leading to increased revenue for further growth, including hiring additional trainers and purchasing better equipment. This cycle of growth is expected to enhance the skills of the athletes and drive more interest in the gym.
The owner highlights their hard work, dedication, and organization as key traits that will contribute to the gym's success. They emphasize a personal coaching approach that prioritizes individual development over competitive success, setting them apart from their main competitors: Big10, Central Maine Elite, and Diamond Athletics.
By securing this grant, Xpress Cheer Allstars would not only achieve their vision for a larger gym but also foster a supportive and developmental environment for local youth athletes.

Funding Usage
This money would be used to expand our gym. Xpress Cheer Allstars is the only cheer gym in the central Maine area. We are currently in a space that is just not big enough. We either need to find something that we can rent that is larger, or buy/build our forever gym home. With the way the market is currently, everything is so expensive. We need that little bit of additional help to get us into a larger space so our gym can grow. This would not only benefit myself and allowing my dream to become a reality, but it would be so beneficial for all of the athletes/children in the area. It would be a safe place for them to come and work on skills and becoming the best version of themselves. Cheer equipment is not cheap, so we would use some of the money to purchase some of that as well so our athletes are able to grow their skills. We are not able to get more equipment or get more athletes in the current space we are in. It is just to small. We could really use this grant, it would be life changing.

Business Plan
Once we are able to get into a larger space, I will be able to get more athletes into the gym. With more athletes, comes more money towards the business. This would allow me to get more gym equipment and more trainers as well. All of these things create a cycle. The more trainers and better equipment, the more our athletes better their skills. That would intern bring more athletes into the gym and have it continue to grow. This all would be able to happen if we get into a larger space. I KNOW this gym will take off and grow immensely the moment we get into a larger space to allow for more athletes. I am hard working, dedicated, organized and determined. I will not sit back and wait for the business to continue to grow, I am one who steps up and makes it happen myself. I know what I am doing and how to do it. I love my athletes and want to watch them and the gym grow.

Self Identified Competition
I would say the top three competitors are gyms named, Big10, Central Maine Elite, and Diamond Athletics. The closest one to us is still almost an hour away and is a smaller gym then us. The other two are pretty accomplished ones. The type of training/teaching I have is so much more personal then the other gyms. They coach more like, winning is key, and everyone is just a number. Don't get me wrong, winning is great. However, I care more about who the athletes are becoming as a person and making sure they are becoming the best version of themselves. I am tough on them, but I also genuinely care about them as individuals.
