Kweenz Kreationz L.L.C. 87-1357882 | Government Grant Application

Kweenz Kreationz L.L.C. | Application Preview

Kweenz Kreationz L.L.C. is applying for government grants to obtain working capital for business expansion. The owner seeks to transition from operating in a garage to opening an actual store while ensuring adequate inventory to meet customer demands. Additionally, funds will support attendance at professional events for networking and sales opportunities.

The business plan outlines a five-year vision for establishing a storefront, enhancing marketing efforts, and growing the client base. The owner also aims to invest in equipment that will improve operations and profitability.

The funding request emphasizes the owner's unique background as a female, African American disabled veteran and highlights the personalized nature of the business. Each product is crafted to align with customer input, aiming to bring joy in challenging times.

Kweenz Kreationz faces competition from major platforms like Amazon, Etsy, and Shopify. However, the owner believes their competitive edge lies in the personal, handmade approach to customer service. Unlike online retailers, Kweenz Kreationz prioritizes direct communication with customers over phone calls, providing a unique touch that sets the business apart in a crowded market.

  • Funding Usage

The purpose of the funding I am requesting is to obtain working capital. I would like to expand my business from my garage to an actual store as well as ensure I have enough products in stock to fulfill orders. Additionally, I am praying to travel to different professional events for networking and sales.

  • Business Plan

Within the next 5 years I intend to have a store, better marketing and a larger client base. I also intend to purchase additional equipment to enhance my business and increase profits. Investors should invest in me not only because I am a female, African American disabled veteran, but also because my business was created with customer's in mind. Each "kreation" is personalized with the customer's idea(s) every step of the way. I want to bring just a little bit of happiness to those who need it most, especially during the traumatic time we live in today.

  • Self Identified Competition

    1) Amazon 2) Etsy 3) Shopify Those are 3 of the biggest websites where my competitors and others sell their goods. My point is, not only am I in competition with other sellers, I am also competing with online shopping. The difference between myself and my competitors is that first and foremost, I am the only ME. Second, all of my items are hand-made and personalized specific to each customer. No item from my store leaves the same as the last. Last and most important to me, there are no order forms or do everything online...my store has the "old school" personalized touch. I speak to my customers directly over the telephone not via chat on the web. The only aspect of my business that is done online is the payment, literally all other communication is directly through me.
