Funding Usage
The funding requested would be used to purchase a dump truck and small tractor. We are currently using a 2007 GMC Sierra and small dump trailer. The dump truck would be much more useful to haul soil, mulch and plant materials to jobs. We are also in need of a tractor for several jobs we have coming up. Renting a tractor by the day is a costly option that we will have to choose if we are not able to purchase our own tractor.

Business Plan
Having more cost effective equipment available to us will allow us to get more jobs done in a more timely fashion. This will allow us to grow our customer base. With more equipment available (ie: tractor) we plan to expand our services to include pond installation. We are a small locally owned business. I have been in the landscaping business now for 18 years and finally gained the courage to go out in business for myself. It just so happened that my timing was a little off and I started just before a global pandemic. My wife and I have three children ages 12, 9 and 6 and this business is our main source of income.

Georges Green Thumb Kenneth D. Brown Landscaping Signature Lawn & Landscaping Each of these companies are based locally and are much larger operations. They provide landscape installation and maintenance services. Our company, while it may be small in scale, still provides the best quality service and design. We have started out small and plan to keep things small to ensure we are providing our customers with the service they deserve. We also plan to expand our services to include pond installation and maintenance. This is a service that is not readily available in our area.
