Edge Development 83-1371826 | Government Grant Application

Edge Development | Application Preview

Edge Development is seeking government grants to enhance community recreation by constructing bleachers with shade for spectators, a lodge for indoor dining, and improving accessibility with sidewalks and rails. The project includes drilling a well for drinking water and installing plumbing for facilities. Additionally, funding will support the maintenance of a race track.

The business plan outlines a vision for the next five years, focusing on creating a welcoming environment for veterans and offering guided tours. Plans include expanding the race track to feature various types of racing, moving beyond just one style.

Edge Development emphasizes the importance of community growth, leveraging the applicant's personal experience in farming to underscore a commitment to hard work. The project aims to provide engaging activities for youth, with profits reinvested into community enhancements and local programs.

Although there are existing competitors in the region, such as Tulie MX, Sandia MX, and C-Bad MX, Edge Development intends to collaborate with these businesses through a council. This partnership could lead to a series of events, with shared prizes across venues. The facility plans to diversify offerings beyond motocross to include sand drags, ATV racing, BMX, and trail rides, creating a unique and comprehensive recreational destination for the community.

  • Funding Usage

With the funding I will build bleachers with shade for our community to watch comfortably. A lodge will be erected to hold families should they choose to eat and drink indoors. Sidewalks and rails would be placed throughout for handicap accessibility. A well would be drilled for drinking water and plumbing to be ran to bathrooms and structures. Equipment will be bought to maintain the race track.

  • Business Plan

In the next five years I plan to bring in veterans of foreign wars to relax and enjoy themselves at our lodge. There will be guided tours of the property fo any person interested. Additional race courses will be built to diversify only one style of racing. I grew up in this small town working on a farm in the fields. I know the meaning of hard work and how to do it. Our community needs activities to keep the youth out of trouble. I am doing this so that our community thrives. I don’t want any money for myself. All the money will go to the track and what is profited will go to improvements and donations to community programs

  • Self Identified Competition

Tulie mx in Tularosa New Mexico offers motocross racing. Sandia mx in Moriarity New Mexico offers motocross racing C-bad mx in Carlsbad New Mexico offers motocross racing What makes me different is that I want to start a council with these other businesses to work together. We all can hold one event per month on different days but all be joined in a series where all business involved would donate for better prizes. My facility will not only hold motocross racing but sand drags, ATV and side by side racing, BMX racing, and guided trail rides of our beautiful New Mexico landscape
