Dha Rentals 84-1799951 | Government Grant Application

Dha Rentals | Application Preview

Dha Rentals is applying for government grants to navigate the financial strain caused by the pandemic and to alleviate some of the debt accrued during this challenging period. The business had started expanding by adding two new rooms just before the pandemic struck, but has struggled to generate income and cover expenses, relying on personal funds to stay afloat.

The business's plan was to reinvest all profits back into operations and expansion prior to the pandemic, with aspirations of purchasing their own building. Over the past year, they have increased from two to seven rental rooms without taking any profit for themselves, demonstrating a strong commitment to growth and sustainability.

Dha Rentals emphasizes their dedication to serving customers and building a legacy for future generations rather than focusing solely on profit. They recognize a competitive landscape, knowing about 100 similar businesses, many of which depend on loans and set profit goals. However, Dha Rentals believes in a different approach, prioritizing reinvestment and offering discounted rates for essential workers, which they see as a unique advantage in their market.

  • Funding Usage

Help us get through the pandemic and pay off some of the debt and burden we have incurred because of this. We started two more rooms before the pandemic started and haven't been able to make money, or pay our expenses with business funds and have had to use out own which has been extremely difficult.

  • Business Plan

Before the pandemic we were using all profits to either pay our expenses or invest in more rooms. We had plans of buying our own building and were even working with a relator. For us, this is our dream. Like I said in the year of business we haven't took a dollar of profit. Investing $8,000 and only beginning with two rooms, in a year we have made it to 7 rooms and won't stop here. We are committed to our business, our customers, and growing it more then we are about taking profit. We want to grow a business our children and grandchildren can grow and have for their future.

  • Self Identified Competition

I know about 100 different owners of the same type of business as we are. From talking to them and learning how they were started, they all took loans to get started, and have set amounts for profit each month. I don't think building profits are the best way to grow a business. We invest every dollar we earn, and have a goal to reach to before we do. We have discounted rates for hospital workers, armed forces, and all other law enforcement.
