Destination Logistics 87-2416231 | Government Grant Application

Destination Logistics | Application Preview

Destination Logistics is seeking government grants to support the establishment of their business. The funding will be used to acquire essential work equipment, cover one year of insurance, and pay for load boards necessary for operations.

The business plan includes hiring more employees once operations are running smoothly. The founder's motivation stems from a challenging personal experience; after being injured while working for the United States Post Office in September 2018 and struggling to find suitable work, they decided to start their own business. However, financial constraints have made it difficult to secure the necessary resources, particularly insurance and load boards. Gaining this funding would help them achieve their goal of becoming a successful business owner.

In terms of competition, Destination Logistics faces other companies like Runway Transit, A1 Primetime, and Mended Hearts. However, their competitive edge lies in a commitment to sharing knowledge about the trucking industry. The founder plans to teach others what they learn, fostering a collaborative spirit rather than keeping information to themselves. This community-focused approach sets them apart from competitors.

  • Business Plan

I plan to add more employees to my business once I get it up and running. I was working for the United States Post Office and was injured on the job in September of 2018. I was treated unfairly and not allowed to work with my doctors restrictions. I had a very hard time finding work to accommodate my injury. I fell behind on my bills and that’s what made me decide to open up my own business, not knowing it would cost me so much money. I have not been able to do so due to not having enough money to afford the insurance and load boards needed to properly run my business. This money would help me continue my dream to become a successful business owner. I will be forever grateful if I’m approved for this grant

  • Self Identified Competition

Runway transit, A1 Primetime, Mended hearts What makes me different from my competitors is the fact that once I have my business running properly, I will be willing to teach others what I know about the trucking industry. I will not be selfish with the information I learn
