Business Plan
I plan to partner with local businesses to bring in community events, partner with event vendors such as caterers and florists, market to brides at NEO bridal shows, and market to corporations by promoting The Elliot as a venue for corporate parties and events. In Spring of 2022 I will be hiring two Event Coordinators and an Operations Manager. In 2023 I plan to hire a Sales & Marketing Director to bring in more clients. Located in Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood and originally the Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church, the Elliot is giving life to a historic landmark that has been vacant since 2015. As a resident of Tremont, I am passionate about restoring this building and giving the community a resource for community events, weddings, and the like. Tremont is home to over 20 active places of worship perfect for wedding ceremonies, but there are few venues suitable for receptions with more than 100 people. I believe The Elliot will keep people in the neighborhood after ceremonies and bring more people to our businesses. I have been involved in several aspects of the event industry for 15 years and am excited to use my MBA and experience to start my own business.
