Black Monopoly | Application Preview
Black Monopoly is seeking government grants to support their business endeavors, specifically for targeted advertising and necessary studio and web development equipment. Their business strategy involves establishing an initial recording studio and subsequently acquiring additional property to expand their resources. They also plan to enhance their online dropshipping store and introduce new online ventures, along with merchandise sales tied to their brand.
The organization aims to create a multimedia marketing company that will not only sustain a recording studio but will also nurture a record label. A key aspect of their initiative is to positively impact the local community by providing hope and opportunities for youth who have faced challenges in their environments and the support systems in place.
Regarding competition, Black Monopoly recognizes that while they face a few local studios like Dojo Studios and Fyre Studios, they also compete with established names such as Octobers Very Own and Roc-a-fella. Their competitive edge lies in their innovative approach to advertising. Unlike traditional methods used by competitors, Black Monopoly intends to utilize cost-effective social media strategies to build a compelling narrative and effectively reach targeted audiences, adapting to the increasingly digital landscape of marketing.

Business Plan
Once we have the initial studio up and running, we will buy a new property and increase our studio resources. We will also up scale our online dropshipping store, while launching new online stores as well as selling merchandise from the brand we build. Our plan is to create a multi-media marketing company, that can fund a recording studio, that can support and begin growing a record label. The work we do will have an impact in our community by giving hope and opportunities to youth in our city who have been failed by the environments they grew up in and the systems that were meant to assist them.

Self Identified Competition
The advantage to this model is that, we have few local competitors. Our current local competition Dojo Studios, Fyre Studios, and Broken Crow Studio. Otherwise, we seek to compete with Octobers Very Own, Roc-a-fella, and Young Money. Our competitors are focused on more traditional means of advertising that can be costly and very inefficient. Our processes are going to be focused on leveraging the low cost and vast range of social media to create a story/brand and target our specific audiences with products we know they will resonate with. It's about building a formula for product promotion in an ever more digitalized aged.
