Rome 100 Media Group LLC 85-2752861 | Government Grant Application

Rome 100 Media Group LLC | Application Preview

Rome 100 Media Group LLC is seeking government grant funding to enhance its operations and increase service offerings in the media production space. The funds will be utilized primarily for upgrading equipment, specifically acquiring two cinema-grade cameras, which will facilitate higher-budget projects that are often filmed in Georgia. Additionally, the grant will allow the company to contract employees for larger projects, including feature films and commercials.

The business plan outlines a strategy to adopt virtual design workflows, which are increasingly relevant in the post-COVID film industry. It aims to generate at least $100,000 annually by the third year through this innovative approach. Furthermore, the company plans to develop virtual assets for licensing and strengthen its marketing efforts by hiring a public relations agency.

The application emphasizes the applicant's academic background in media studies, along with extensive hands-on experience in filmmaking. This experience is positioned as a strength, ensuring that projects will be thoughtfully crafted and visually impactful.

In terms of competition, Rome 100 Media Group LLC acknowledges established players such as Cam Kirk Studios, Ravenwood Studios, and Crazylegs Studios. However, the company claims a competitive edge by focusing on a unique artistic vision aligned with the French New Wave movement, contrasting with the traditional Hollywood-style filmmaking of its competitors. This approach aims to authentically capture and represent the feelings of people, thereby setting the company apart in the industry.

  • Funding Usage

I will allocate funds by upgrading equipment for more expensive services such as 3d and virtual production. I will also be able to contract employees for bigger projects. This includes feature film and commercial length projects. I will also strengthen marketing and branding by hiring PR. I have an agency, With the funds I will be able to afford the monthly services. Equipment upgrades will include 2 cinema grade cameras for high budget projects that are often filmed in Georgia.

  • Business Plan

I plan on growing my business by being an early adapter of the virtual design workflow, guaranteed to make at least $100k annually by year 3. This is a desirable work flow for covid protocols in the film industry. This will lead to our studio being built. I also plan on developing virtual assets that can be licensed. With the allocation of money to new cameras, I will be able to take more expensive projects with a large amount of client budget being spent on my team and services. I have studied on a collegic level the formula for effective media as well as how easy it is with the proper production budget and crew, to make a project that is seen by millions. As I finish my bachelors degree in film I have been able to thouroghly analyze why the things that we see are so impactful. This makes me feel apart of the production experience rather than just the film experience. I have been exposed to every level of filmmaking and have had 1000's of hours of set experience. Investing in me I can guarantee every project will be beautiful and thoughtful in a way that portrays exactly what you want portrayed.

  • Self Identified Competition

Cam Kirk Studios This is a popular destination in atlanta that takes photos and videos for high status clientel. ravenwood studios is a production office and studio that shoots popular films like marvels avengers. Crazylegs studios is a post production editing facility and is one of the biggest in the southeast of the united states. They work on at least 100 projects annually and have many television placements. My approach is different from my competitors. In film there are waves or eras of content that are created. If I had to choose the era I would belong to, I would chose an era that expresses how the people feel, and present that in the most honest and beautiful way possible. That era would be the french new wave as opposed to my competitors who are (literally) apart of the Hollywood Classical Cinema Era.
