MWAJ 84-3766672 | Government Grant Application

MWAJ | Application Preview

MWAJ is seeking government grants to support its operations and community-focused initiatives. The requested funding will first cover employee payroll, followed by rent and utilities. The business aims to provide nutritious meals and educational programs for children, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for families.

MWAJ emphasizes its commitment to community welfare, focusing on advancing curriculum, promoting healthy eating, creating job opportunities for low-income individuals, and fostering a secure atmosphere for families. The organization believes that with this funding, it can significantly enhance the well-being of children and their families, helping them achieve their goals while ensuring their children's safety and development.

In terms of competition, MWAJ identifies its main rivals as public schools, other childcare facilities, and after-school programs. However, MWAJ's competitive edge lies in its smaller community structure, allowing for personalized attention and strong relationships between staff, children, and parents. This close-knit environment enables MWAJ to create a more efficient and nurturing space for everyone involved.

  • Funding Usage

I would first need to pay my employee their payroll from previous months. I then need to establish and meet my rent and utilities bills, then I would love to attempt to keep my business a float by obtaining nutrition for kids, and educational lesson plan.

  • Business Plan

My business is a cultural and close community of individuals who depend on a safe environment for children. I plan on advancing my curriculum, ensure proper learning for children, I plan on bringing in healthier nutrient meals, providing work opportunities to low income individuals and I plan on creating a safer space for families to feel comfortable coming to. There are a lot of business who want to profit and few who want to build and help their communities profit. Mwaj Care is about the well being of children and their family. I believe that if we got the funding opportunity, a lot more families would have the opportunity to achieve their goals while being reassured their children are safe, growing and learning the right way.

  • Self Identified Competition

Mwaj Care's top three competitors, I would say would be government and state funded public schools, other child care facilities, and after school resources for children. I would say Mwaj Care is different from other competitors in the fact that we are a small community. Because we are a smaller facility, we have more one on one time for all the children we serve. We are able to form personal relationships with not only the children, but also the parents. Everybody has their role and we all work together to make sure things run efficiently.
