Farm Wives Market | Application Preview
Farm Wives Market is applying for government grants with the aim of minimizing debt and improving operations. The funds will be allocated towards paying off existing debt, enhancing inventory, and upgrading equipment, particularly a larger heat press and a DTF printer. These improvements will help the business expand its product offerings and maintain competitive pricing for customers, ultimately supporting the goal of transitioning into a full-time venture.
The business focuses on producing custom t-shirts for local schools, businesses, and sports teams, aspiring to be the primary provider in the community. Although initially offering boutique items to boost local shopping, the intent is to establish a reputation as a go-to source for custom shirts. There's also interest in wholesaling graphic tees to local shops.
Farm Wives Market emphasizes its unique position in the market—unlike competitors, all graphic tees are created in-house, ensuring a personalized touch. The owner’s commitment and passion for the business are clear, having built it independently without outside financial support. By securing funding, the owner hopes to grow the business and provide more support for the family, allowing both partners to pursue their dreams.

Funding Usage
My goal is to get this business as debt free as possible. I would use the funds to pay of some debt and the rest would be used for inventory and bettering my business. I need to upgrade my heat press as I am outgrowing that as well and need a bigger one. I would also like to look into getting a bigger printer such as DTF. This would only better my business and be able to over more products to my customers at better prices. I would love to get the DTF printer so I wouldn't have to outsource that elsewhere. My goal is make this business my full time job.

Business Plan
My #1 goal for my business to make custom t-shirts for our local school, business, sporting teams, etc. I would love to be strictly a shirt making business. I opened up the shop to boutique like items to help people shop more local and to help make money. I want to be the main place to make shirts and I am getting more and more clubs int he area asking for my services for shirts and I want to continue to grow this. I would love to be a wholesale options for people wanting graphic tees for their shop or boutique. I think they should invest in me because this business is my baby. I have built this 100% on my own. No financial help from personal funds. My heart and soul is into to making this a successful business. I work full time but I put just as much time and effort into my small business as I do my day job. I would love to support our family more so that maybe my husband could one day live his dream as a full time farmer. Right now we both are doing our dreams as side gigs until we can afford to not to.

Self Identified Competition
She's Smitten, Rose Grace Boutique, Backyard Boutique. My business is different because they buy all there graphic tees and I make ALL of mine in house. I like to let my customers know that I put the love into each shirt I make for them to buy.
