Inferno Pizza Lounge | Application Preview
Inferno Pizza Lounge is applying for government grants to enhance their business. The funding would be utilized for renovations, including new flooring, kitchen equipment, furniture, and an overall update to the restaurant's appearance.
To grow their business, Inferno Pizza Lounge plans to leverage various marketing strategies. They are currently investing in a marketing agency to expand their client database through text and email marketing. With about 400 clients generating $200-$300 daily, they aim to increase these figures significantly. The restaurant is also awaiting the installation of a distinctive wood-fired oven, which they believe will attract customers due to the lack of competition in their area.
Their marketing efforts include active engagement on Facebook and Google Ads to drive traffic to their website. They believe that enhancing the restaurant's ambiance will improve customer retention and encourage repeat visits, especially since they offer quality food.
The application emphasizes the urgent need for funding, stating that it would not only benefit their business but also contribute to the local economy and job creation in Holiday, Florida. The owner, who has a successful background in business and a passion for the restaurant industry, expresses a strong commitment to making this venture successful.
Inferno Pizza Lounge differentiates itself from nearby competitors by offering a unique menu that blends Italian and American cuisine in a lounge setting. The installation of a wood-fired oven and the diverse menu set them apart from traditional Italian restaurants in the area. With a dynamic partnership bringing together American and Italian backgrounds, they are poised to innovate and meet customer demands effectively.

Business Plan
We will grow our business in the following ways: We are paying $500/month to our marketing agency Owner.com. They are building our data base of clients and are marketing them via text messaging and email blasts. Over time, our data base will be large so the marketing they are doing will drive a good amount of deliveries. At the moment, we have about 400 clients in our database and are getting about $200-$300/day, we want to see that number grow. Our new wood fired oven which we are waiting for a permit, so it's not operating yet. No other pizzeria in our area has this type of oven. It takes a lot of practice using this type of oven and it is a specialty. The demand is high and the competition is very low. This will drive people from all over to dine in since not many other pizzerias have wood fired ovens Unfortunately, they will be disappointed in the condition of the restaurant and many will not return. Facebook marketing. We have a decent amount of followers already and we are shooting videos weekly and placing them on You Tube and Face Book to attract more customers. Google Ads. We are spending about $20/day out of our budget for these ads. These ads are directed to our website https://infernopizzalounge.com/. This expense is in addition to what we are paying our marketing agency. A better facility. If our restaurant is fixed up and thus creates a pleasant environment, clients will not turn around and walk out. They will want to stay and come back again. This will be one of the most effective ways to grow our business since we have excellent food. First off, thank you for your consideration and if we received the funding, we would not take it for granted and would be forever grateful. If ever a business needed the funding, it is us. Holiday is an old City in Pasco County Fl. It needs to be lifted and cleaned up. We can do this with your help. We want to not only make money, but to generate revenue to stimulate the economy and to create more jobs for people in need. We plant to open other locations, if we were invested in, this would speed our process up several years. I have vast experience in business. I have owned a hair salon for about 20 years. I'm not going to let this business fail. Any funds we receive, even if it's less than requested will be used in such a way to have a maximum benefit on our business as a whole. These funds will not be waisted will definitely stimulate the economy. I was a career firefighter for 25 years and retired this past August when we bought our pizzeria. It was a dream for may years to own a pizzeria and means a lot to me. I am reliable and I will not fail. I know I am long winded, but I just appreciate this opportunity.

Self Identified Competition
Angelo's Italian Restaurant: They are probably the most successful pizzeria near us. They have a full Italian menu and from what I understand, the owner is quite wealthy as a result of the success he has had with his business. Dino's Subs & Pizza: Tis place is small, but I hear a lot of good things about this pizzeria. I have a feeling they do quite well, though I have never been there. I do hear a lot of good things about them. The Loaded Slice: They have been in business for a long time and a lot of the Holiday residence know who they are. I imagine they do pretty well based on their history. However, I have been hearing that the owner is tired of the business and is selling. All of our competitors are traditional Italian restaurants. We are not by design. We built the business model of Inferno Pizza Lounge to be a pizza lounge serving Italian and American food. Please view our menu. https://infernopizzalounge.com/infernopizzalounge/order It's a place that if you want pasta, pizza or chicken wings or a hamburger, we offer it. It's a place to lounge and relax, not just a typical pizzeria. We just installed a bar in front of two large screen TV's and we have been having customers using it already. A little history about us, I am American and 50 years old. My partner is from Naples Italy and 30 years of age. We are of different age, background and culture and this is where the Italian and American theme comes from. We want it to be different than other Italian restaurants and this is why we will succeed. We are innovative and if we know there is a demand for something, we try it on our menu. We have introduced a wood fired oven. None of our competitors offer this. Wood fired pizza is a specialty pizza, it's not easy using this type of oven and takes quite a bit of training. I learned many years ago since my wife was born and raised in Naples Italy and I also have a wood fired oven in my house. My friend and business partner was also born and raised in Italy and he grew up making Italian pizza and using a wood fired oven since this is all they use there. We have a clear advantage for this reason, it's a specialty pizza and it's difficult to learn to make it without years of training. Furthermore, it's a very difficult piece of equipment to install because of the size and weight of it. This being said, competitors may not be able to get one installed on top of trying to learn how to use it properly. For this reason, when we purchased our restaurant, we made sure that it was possible to install our oven before we closed on the purchase.
