Knock Out Health and Wellness, LLC | Application Preview
Knock Out Health and Wellness, LLC is applying for government grants to support its mission of expanding mentorship opportunities and promoting health and wellness in various cities. The funding will be used for organizing events, hiring a team for social media content creation, covering travel expenses for boxing programs, and nutrition seminars.
The business plans to enhance its social media presence significantly with the new team and to extend its mentorship program to after-school care and college students. A mobile application is also in the pipeline to provide mentorship and accountability directly to youth.
The application emphasizes the uniqueness of mobile mentorship, particularly from a black female perspective, which is currently lacking in the market. The founder highlights her dedication to fitness and nutrition, aiming to empower young people and shift the narrative for black females regarding capital gain.
There is some competition from organizations like Tnachieves and the Boys and Girls Club of America, but the organization sees Tnachieves as a valuable partner for mentorship. On a local small business level, there is little direct competition, giving Knock Out Health and Wellness a distinct advantage.
The competitive edge lies in the mobile accessibility of its mentorship programs, combining boxing with active mentorship to inspire youth in their career and educational pursuits. The founder acknowledges the challenges brought by the pandemic but has adapted her business strategy to continue growth and create employment opportunities while freeing up her time as the owner. The certification with Tnachieves positions the company to mentor effectively via their mobile app and online resources.

Business Plan
Social media growth will be phenomenal with a team. Expanding the mentorship program to after school care and colleges. Mobile application for in hand mentorship and accountability with youth. Mobile mentorship does not exist from a black female market. I have the resume to show my dedication to fitness and nutrition. Black females are low on the scale for capital gain. This will change that dynamic for me in front of the youth that see me daily.

Self Identified Competition
Tnachieves is my top competitor but also a partner in which I do mentorship. Boys and Girls Cclub of America but they are a nonprofit that I can link with for profit to support their youth. No competition on a small business level in my area. I am mobile, my applications can be accessed with a smart device, I am mixing boxing with active mentorship to show youth options in careers and education, as well as building character. This is 2022, we are still recovering from a huge pandemic that hurt small businesses looking to hire. My game plan to grow employees had to pivot but still expand to grow business and free up time for myself as the owner. We have a certification with tnachieves to mentor youth via their mobile app and online presence.
