Forever Young Personal Care 820679082 | Government Grant Application

Forever Young Personal Care | Application Preview

Forever Young Personal Care is seeking government funding to cover startup costs aimed at securing clients and hiring employees. The business plan focuses on establishing a home care service with plans to expand into medical home care. This expansion includes launching a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program, offering individuals entry into the medical field while ensuring a well-trained workforce for caring for the aging population. The company also aims to enhance transportation services to assist low-income residents in accessing medical appointments and community resources, promoting independence and quality of life.

The justification for funding emphasizes Forever Young's commitment to serving the community and addressing the increasing demand for healthcare services. The business aims to enable seniors to remain in their homes comfortably while fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment for its employees.

In terms of competition, Forever Young acknowledges existing home care agencies like The Daily Dove, Senior Helpers, and Serene Living Services, as well as nursing homes that may deter potential clients unaware of home care options. The company’s competitive advantage lies in its holistic approach to care, which includes training staff in both physical and mental health needs, and utilizing technology to ensure client satisfaction. Additionally, by providing necessary transportation, the company strives to keep clients engaged in their communities, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for both clients and employees.

  • Funding Usage

We need funding to help with the startup costs so that we can obtain clients and hire employees.

  • Business Plan

Once we establish our home care, we are looking to grow by moving to medical home care so we can provide more services to those in the community. We also want to start a CNA training program so that individuals interested in learning the medical field can gain their first experience. Once CNA training is completed, these individuals will be given a job with our company and we will know we have well-trained staff caring for the aging population. We also want to expand on transportation services so that we can help those in low income communities get to medical appointments, or access their community to increase their quality of life. Our overall goal is to help the aging population be as independent as possible while receiving quality care. We are a start up business looking to invest and give back to our surrounding communities. We see the growing need in health care and we want to be part of the change in allowing the aging population to live our their life in the comfort of their own home. We want to continue to grow and expand so that we can not only care for the aging population, but also obtain employees that feel like they are also treated like family. We want our employees to learn and grow professionally so that they too can help contribute to our community in a positive way.

  • Self Identified Competition

Our top three competitors are the surrounding home care and home health care agencies already established. They have clients that we are just starting to obtain. Some of the local home care agencies include: The Daily Dove, Senior Helpers, and Serene Living Services. We also are competing with nursing homes as some of these individuals are moving into nursing homes before realizing home care is an option which allows them to continue living in their own home. We not only offer home care services to the aging population, but we train our staff to be CNAs and also in mental health first aid. This allows our employees to not only help with physical needs of the clients, but also their mental health, a commonly overlooked necessity. We are looking to care for our clients as a whole, and not just for their physical needs. We also collaborate with families in order to best match the client with an aide so that they feel happy with who is caring for them. We do this through technology such as surveys (initial and ongoing) to ensure our clients feel heard and can voice their opinion. We also have transportation services through a van that will allow individuals to go out to the grocery store, appointments, hair salon, etc. so they are still actively part of their community. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for not only our clients, but our employees as well.
