Metrix Trucking LLC | Application Preview
Metrix Trucking LLC is seeking government grants to support a promising business opportunity. The company has secured potential contracts in Atlanta, with each contract valued at a minimum of $250,000, totaling over a million dollars. To fulfill these contracts, the owner plans to purchase 4-5 trucks for $200,000 from a family friend and is expecting an SBA loan of $200,000, contingent on improving his credit score.
The applicant intends to use the grant funding to pay off an existing loan, which will help raise his credit score by 15 points and enable him to secure the SBA loan. If granted $250,000, it would simplify the process and eliminate unnecessary complications.
The business has plans to expand beyond Atlanta into neighboring states such as Tennessee, Kentucky, and North Carolina, where there is already expressed interest in their services. The primary competition is Cardinal Logistics, but the distributor favors Metrix Trucking due to their superior work ethic. The owner’s father, who has a strong work history and accolades as a top driver, is committed to delivering exceptional service. Overall, the funding would greatly enhance their ability to meet current demand and support their expansion efforts.

Funding Usage
My father and I have been offered 1-4 contracts (each with a min. of $250,000) and I have a family friend that will sell me 4-5 trucks for $200,000. I have a Loan coming in from the SBA for $200,000 but I need my credit score to go up 15 points so I would like to use the grant to pay the freedom plus loan so my credit will go up and I can accept the loan. It would be even better if I got $250,000 to avoid all the jumping around but beggars can’t be choosers.

Business Plan
After we take the contracts in Atlanta my father wants to expand in all the areas he delivers to; he would like to open dispatches in Tennessee, Kentucky, And North Carolina. We have the contracts ready and the 5 in total will give us more than a million and that’s just in Atlanta. We plan to expand in more areas in the south who are already interested in doing business with my father and I.
-
Self Identified Competition
We only have one and it’s Cardinal Logistics but the distributor would prefer us more we just don’t have the funds to get the trucks Work ethic. My father works harder than any driver I know. He used to work for cardinal before he became independent and He was driver of the month for 3 consecutive years.
