College Bound Prep Academy 874716450 | Government Grant Application

College Bound Prep Academy | Application Preview

College Bound Prep Academy is seeking government grants to support its mission of assisting underprivileged student athletes in gaining college opportunities. The funding will primarily be directed towards acquiring two vans, renting space for a gym, securing housing, covering travel expenses, purchasing computers, facilitating online courses, and ensuring employee salaries and utilities for a two-year period.

The academy aims to establish a reputation as a premier secondary school focused on helping students secure free college tuition through strong athletic performance. The ultimate goal is to create a tuition-free environment where student athletes can concentrate solely on their education and athletic training.

The grant proposal emphasizes the unique vision for the academy, distinguishing it from notable competitors like Rutgers Prep, IMG Academy, and Saint Thomas Moore. Unlike these institutions, which are heavily focused on athletics, College Bound Prep Academy prioritizes a balanced approach that equally emphasizes education. The business intends to limit enrollment to provide personalized attention to each student, ensuring a supportive and comprehensive educational experience.

The competitive edge lies in the founder's commitment to prioritize student success over profit. The academy seeks to alleviate financial burdens for families, enabling students who have faced challenges in high school to continue their education without the stress of tuition fees. This dedication to fostering both athletic and academic growth is positioned as a core value that sets the academy apart from similar programs.

  • Business Plan

I plan to grow my business by being able to recruit and send high profile under privileged students to college. To do this I plan to have the best coaches and staff help me grow my reputation as a secondary school that helps student athletes go to school for free. In about 2 years I want to be able to have a tuition free school where student athletes can come and not have to worry about anything but school work and their craft. My school will shine a brighter light on the importance of education when it comes to athletes. Investors should invest in me because I have a clear vision on how I want to help young student athletes in my community and other communities.

  • Self Identified Competition

Rutgers Prep, IMG Academy and Saint Thomas Moore These schools are great in my field and are well known secondary schools. In my Idustry its really not to much competition if you are able to compensate in some kind of way. My school will hit all the important notes that other schools dont because they are mainly for athletics and put education on the back burner where we will be helping the students in all areas possible including helping them go to school and board for free. Also we will be competitive in the area where we will have a limit amount of student athletes where they can have that more individual attention for studies and sport. What makes me different from my competitors is my business will not be based on how much money I can make. Of coarse everyone wants to make money especially since you need it to survive in society but Im starting my school to help these student athletes who struggled in high school. I want these students to be able to come to my school and not have them or their families worry about how they're going to pay for that extra year of important schooling that could get their student to college. There are a lot of programs just like mine out there but none that I have come across that genuinely care about the students or their success as much as I do. Im looking to help build these boys educationally as well as a good student. A lot of programs do not stress the importance of education in college when in reality you cannot get into any school without the grades first and athletics second.
