Michael Angelo Sports LLC DBA N Zone Sports All A | Application Preview
Michael Angelo Sports LLC, operating as N Zone Sports, is seeking government grants to address capacity issues hindering their growth and community involvement. The organization has experienced consistent registration growth but has had to turn away many children due to limited field space. To ensure every child can participate, they plan to expand to a larger field that would support unlimited registrations.
The business plan includes partnering with Everykidsports to offer free sports programs to underprivileged children, but current limitations restrict outreach to schools and expansion into additional sports like basketball. The new funding would allow them to accommodate more participants and enhance community involvement.
The application highlights the branch's exceptional performance within the N Zone Sports franchise, ranking first among 51 locations nationally. The Fayetteville branch consistently attracts over 300 registrants per season, far exceeding the average of 150-200 in other branches. This success positions them strongly against competitors, including I-9 Sports and local travel leagues.
N Zone Sports differentiates itself through its commitment to community engagement, organizing fun events like seasonal themed games and encouraging sponsors to contribute snacks instead of funds. This focus on inclusivity and community well-being sets them apart from sports organizations that prioritize profit. The funding will help them eliminate the need to turn children away and further strengthen their community impact.

Funding Usage
Over the past year we have consistently grown, and with our limited capacity field, we can only accept a certain amount of registrations. We plan to grow to a bigger more accommodating field to allow more children to play in our organization. We have constantly had to end registrations early, add a waiting list, or turn children away due to capacity issues. Our main goal is to accommodate our growth and never have to turn kids away ever again.

Business Plan
We could easily keep on taking more kids, but with the limited space we have, we also have to limit the amount of registrations we can allow, so we are constantly having to turn families away when we reach capacity. With a bigger field we would be able to expand to an unlimited registrations accepted. We also partner with Everykidsports to provide sports for free to underprivileged children to play in our league for free. We want to spread this information to schools, but with limited registrations and capacity issues we just would not be able to accommodate unless we find a bigger space with more sport options. We would like to expand into Basketball and other sports as well. Though my business is part of a franchise, of the 51 branches, I have made our branch in Fayetteville #1 in the entire country. Competing with major markets such as Los Angeles, Bay Area California, Memphis, Tampa and Houston. We are at the top because of our unique business methods and how well we bring the entire community together. Every season we have to cut registrations short. The average registration of other branches are 150-200 children, while I have consistently hit 300+ every single season, and we could double that.

Self Identified Competition
Being that we are a part of the N Zone Sports Franchise, every sports organization is a "Competitor" because we have the capability to offer multiple sports. Our main competitor is I-9 sports who have a very similar business model. Our next competitor is the travel leagues such as Liberty Point who play competitive so only allow the top players to play, leaving the average child either not making the team or sitting on the bench for the entire game. Lastly our main competition is Hall Park, who even though they are competition we have a friendly relationship because we both provide sports to the kids of our local areas with the same goal of bringing the community together and allowing every kid to play. We are unique because of how much we give back. We do special events, for example, last season we had a snowball fight where after the games the two competing teams went at it throwing over 10,000 crumbled up paper balls at each other. For Halloween we allowed the kids to play sports in their costumes. Even our sponsors, we ask that they do not give us money, but instead bring snacks and drinks for the kids and give back to the community. Our competition for the most part are a business in trying to grow revenue and make money, while in our business we try to let the kids play and bring people of all walks of life together in peace.
