Daniel Pyle the Artist Have not gotten one yet. | Government Grant Application

Daniel Pyle the Artist | Application Preview

Daniel Pyle is seeking government grants to establish his artist business. He intends to use the funding primarily for purchasing a home, along with supplies and equipment necessary for creating art. His business plan focuses on producing landscapes, still lifes, and portraits, while also collaborating with galleries to sell his paintings. Additionally, he plans to create prints of his original works to reach a wider audience.

Pyle emphasizes his dedication to his craft, expressing how deeply he immerses himself in painting, often forgetting to eat while absorbed in his work. He points out that as a person with a disability, traditional employment options are limited for him, making self-employment crucial for securing stable income.

In terms of competition, he views the art community as collaborative, where artists support one another instead of competing aggressively. He considers himself his own biggest competitor, constantly pushing for improvement with each piece. Pyle highlights his commitment to quality and has built a network of fellow artists and patrons to aid in his artistic journey, enhancing his ability to promote and sell his work. Overall, he argues that the grant would not only benefit him but also contribute to the broader artistic community by enabling his self-employment.

My top 3 competitors are all Me, myself and I. I am my only competitor as we push our self to paint harder and better, each painting needs to be better than the last. As an individual that has the write motivation to get the skills, through schooling and getting help when needed. In the artist business we don’t compete against each other but help each other to become better. I also strive to paint good paintings that are pleasing to look at in the hopes someone will buy them. I have a personal strive to get the pictures to paint better painting, I also have a network of artist that can help me as I would need it if something came up. I addition to that I have a network of patrons to show my art to that would get me commissions for other paintings.
