Breeze N Farms, LLC 149313 | Government Grant Application

Breeze N Farms, LLC | Application Preview

Breeze N Farms, LLC is seeking government grants to fund significant renovations and repairs to its aging wooden barn and equipment. The current structure is deteriorating and leaking, and the owner aims to replace it with a more durable metal building. This upgrade would not only improve safety and reliability but also allow for the addition of more stalls, ultimately increasing revenue.

The business plan focuses on modifying the farm's layout, including barn and fencing enhancements, to facilitate more effective pasture rotations and provide shelter during inclement weather. Plans also include creating a covered riding arena to enhance the facility's offerings. The goal is to make the farm more efficient and capable of accommodating a greater number of animals.

The owner highlights a commitment to community and family values, emphasizing a friendly atmosphere and the experience gained from a lifetime of riding and training horses. In addition to traditional boarding and riding lessons, the farm aids in rehoming and rehabilitating animals in need, working closely with local rescue agencies.

Competition comes from larger facilities with better resources and convenience for potential clients. However, Breeze N Farms distinguishes itself through its unique community engagement and personal touch. As a single mother running the farm, the owner also promotes educational outreach through various local organizations. This includes selling hormone-free eggs and homemade goat milk products, further enhancing the farm's appeal. The owner possesses certifications in veterinary assistance and equine studies, adding credibility to her operations.

  • Funding Usage

The barn is very old and wooden. It is in major repairs at this point, and I would like to renovate it to be a sturdier metal structure. The current wooden one is in a deuteriation state as well as leaking. With a complete remodel to a sturdier and redesigned structure, I can add more stalls to increase profit as well as the maintenance on and building repairs. The metal has twice the durability as the wood. The working equipment we use every day is also in need of major repairs and/or replacements. A reliably working tractor and truck is a huge necessity. Minor repairs on the horse trailers could be done as well.

  • Business Plan

To Revamp and complete barn/fencing/pasture renovations to be more effective to utilize pasture rotations. To replace the barn to have easier access to all around and be completely enclosed during inclement weather. A covered riding arena to shield from any elements. All in effort to make a more efficient economical farm and being able to accommodate more animals. I plan to grow this farm by better restructuring it. For my family and for my community. Promoting Its family friendly atmosphere even further. I not only board horses, teach riding lessons and train horses; I have been actively riding and showing my entire life. I have many years of experience to share with people as being an accomplished riding professional. I am also an open carded show judge. A lot of the personal animals to this farm also happen to be animals that were in need of rehoming or rehabbing for one reason or another. Usually working with local rescue adoption agencies to help retrain those livestock animals and find them forever homes. I am not afraid to work hard and give everything with all I do. Making sure every day that everything and everyone here is well taken care of and doing/learning to the best of their abilities. I am continually also riding myself. Constantly stay on top of learning any new information to improve myself and the education that I share with my students.
