Little Details, Big Moments is seeking a grant of $25,000 to expand its inventory and improve service offerings, particularly in response to the surge in weddings anticipated in 2022. The funds will help acquire larger rental items like chairs, tables, and couches, as well as a larger trailer for transportation.
The business aims to capitalize on the growing wedding industry in Gillette, Wyoming, where resources for rental items are limited. Besides weddings, the owner plans to branch into corporate events, which often require a grander scale of materials.
The owner emphasizes a commitment to community service, wanting to make special occasions memorable for couples and provide free rentals for those who cannot afford them. With aspirations to support local high school students interested in event planning, the owner expresses that the motivation is not profit but a passion for serving others.
Currently, the business faces competition from a long-established rental company, 4 Seasons, which has received criticism for poor customer service. Little Details, Big Moments aims to differentiate itself by prioritizing communication and customer service, leveraging tools like automated emails and strategic time management learned through educational resources to ensure quick responses to clients.

Business Plan
2022 is the year of weddings. There has not been this many weddings booked in a single year since 1984. This is a growing industry, and living in Gillette, Wyoming we don't have a lot of resources for rentals. I plan to grow my business into corporate events and not just weddings. Corporations have more money to invest into bigger events, but I need the funds to provide the materials for those events. I am a good Christian women who loves to serve people. A wedding day is a special day and I want to be able to provide materials to make a couples big day come alive. Not only do I want that, but God has given me this business and I have a passion for stewarding my money back into the community. Providing free rentals to nominated brides that can't afford it, and providing scholarship opportunities to high schoolers interested in event planning. I am not out to get rich I do not find joy in material things, but I do find joy in working with people for a living. I know I am just starting and I've already invested a lot of money myself, and I know I don't have the experience yet to back anything up, but I am putting in the work. My number one priority is customer service and I know this business is going to thrive because God is the CEO.

Self Identified Competition
As far as competitors there is only one other rental business in Gillette, Wyoming. Their business is called 4 seasons. They have been in business a really long time and provide bigger rentals such as chairs, pipe draping, and a lot of options for table decor. As far as what makes me different from my competitor is that I put a lot of value in getting back to my clients. 4 Seasons right now is known for not replying back to their clients for months. There has been frustration towards them on social media and within the community. What makes me different is I have been able to invest in educational resources such as Rental Biz Academy that has shown me what processes to put in place to ensure you can have a timely replying response. Automated e-mails, time blocking in my schedule, and setting it as a priority will set me apart immensely.
