Breezie Blinkz LLC LC1715184 | Government Grant Application

Breezie Blinkz LLC | Application Preview

Breezie Blinkz LLC is seeking government grants to recover lost wages due to COVID-19 and support its employees who rely on business revenue for their pay. The eyelash extension services they provide require close contact, making it challenging to operate during the pandemic. Maintaining safety for clients and the household is a priority, especially since the current slow business has made it hard to pay rent and other expenses.

The company's future plan involves relocating to Atlanta, GA, over the next five years. This area presents a strong market for eyelash extensions, and Breezie intends to expand her offerings by creating customizable eyelash strips for convenient at-home application. Additionally, she envisions establishing a "One Stop Shop" to collaborate with other beauty professionals, creating a welcoming environment for clients seeking various aesthetic services.

Breezie believes her passion, educational background in business from Southeast Missouri State University, and extensive customer service experience make her a strong candidate for funding. Her personal connection to eyelash extensions, inspired by her late sister, drives her commitment to success. She recognizes the competition from established local businesses but feels confident in her unique approach to customer service and the quality of her work.

Her competitive edge lies in her extensive knowledge of customer service, creating a relaxing atmosphere for clients, offering personalized options, and utilizing her educational background in business management. By prioritizing client comfort and satisfaction, Breezie aims to differentiate herself in the competitive market.

  • Funding Usage

I will use this funding to replace the loss wages due to covid 19. I will also pay my employees, as I haven't been able to pay them fully because their pay is based on business. Performing eyelash extension services is used through direct contact to the eyes and facial area. This is impossible to do and social distance. Clients and myself want to remain safe. Also, since I work out of my home I want to ensure the safety of my household. So business has really been slow. As I'm unavailable to work during this time. Also my rent is paid by expenses of my business which has been hard trying to make ends meet. I plan to purchase new decorations and equipment in my household that may have been exposed to covid 19. When business picks up, I want to have new appliances and such for them to ensure they're safety.

  • Business Plan

I plan to grow my business in the next 5 years by one day moving to my dream destination, Atlanta, GA. This area is perfect for the eyelash extension industry, they have a high demand in women wanting this service. As well as applying eye lash extensions, I would like to make my own customize eye lash strips for the on-the-go clients. They can achieve the same look in a strip form. Strips are applied by the consumer, and can be taken on and off daily where eyelash extensions are semi permanent that can last up to 2 weeks. Also in Atlanta, I want to own a huge One Stop Shop. I would like to partner with other entrepreneurs such as hair stylists, makeup artists, barbers and nail techs. My place of business will be a one stop shop for women and men alike. Couples can go out together at the same location for their pampering needs. They would be able to come in to get ready for an event or just for an good environment where we will cater to them entirely during their visit. Private investors should fund in my business because I am a goal seeking young professional who is college educated and is ready to take on the ventures of becoming a new business owner. I believe my studies at Southeast Missouri State University in business has prepared and motivated me to pursure this dream. I've been fascinated with eyelash extensions since junior high school, applying eye lash strips in the restroom. I am in love with the look and the confidence the end results gives my clients. I love to make women feel beautiful and I am very passionate in what I do. I want to make this business last and I want to take the necessary steps of continuing it. I believe I have what it takes to make it thrive. I won't give up, once I feel the drive in my heart I won't let up. Performing eyelash extensions are very therapeutic for me. Lately I've endured various challenges including the death of my sister who gave me the idea to do eyelash extensions, she noticed my gift before I did. She always admired my compassionate for this skill. She helped me to get started, she even helped pay for my certification. Now that she is gone, I have to finish what we started. Not only for myself but for my late sister.

  • Self Identified Competition

Gangway Eyelash Extensions I See You Extensions Naked Eye Extensions All of my competitors have been performing eyelash extensions for years. They have been doing them longer than I have. We are all in the Saint Louis area. I have alot of competitors but these are my top 3. Although having competitors in my area can make it hard to drive business, when your work speaks for itself, you notice that its enough money for all business owners alike. Organizations should invest in my business instead of my competitors because of my history in customer service (knowing how to please my clients), my work environment is catered to the comfortability of my clients, how my ending results look, and my knowledge of business. I've been working in customer service since I was 16, working in the retail enviroment selling clothes. I was recently a manager at a restuarant. I know first hand how to run a business. I am familiar with how to please customers. If I can please customers working in the retail/restuarant business, then I can go above and beyond for my own clients. My work environment is soothing and relaxing for a client coming after a long day of work. Since this service can take up to a hour or more with their eyes closes, I want to ensure the clients trust the environment and myself. I even let my clients choose what they would like to listen to while they are being served (netflix or music) I offer wine to get the clients relaxed or water whichever they prefer. My ending result looks different from my competitors because I take pride in my sets. Each set is individualized to how the client wants. I have 5 different customized sets the clients can choose from. They are my original sets that I designed. Also it takes me less time than competitors but the job is still completed, because I have my own customized sets, I can finish them faster in a way my competitor doesn't know how. Lastly, my knowledge in business separates me from my competitors because most of them don't have any prior knowledge of running a business. I have a college degree that verifies my experience as well as I resume that shows I've been an assistant manager running a franchise business. I believe I would thrive further with knowlege and experience.
