Trainrek 234376069 | Government Grant Application

Trainrek | Application Preview

Trainrek is seeking government grants to acquire a building and equip it with top-notch facilities for West Virginia athletes. The funding will enable them to provide training for athletes who may lack the financial means, as well as invite renowned players like Randy Moss and Carl Lee to share their expertise. Additionally, Trainrek aims to offer academic tutoring to ensure that student-athletes excel in their studies.

Their business plan involves expanding into the Charleston area and eventually into Huntington, providing a safe, state-of-the-art space for athletes of all ages. They hope to collaborate with local high schools for training and practice, and, as they build success, attract elite athletes from across the country, benefiting both Trainrek and the state economically.

The heart of Trainrek's mission is centered on empowering youth to become future leaders through the discipline learned in athletics. They emphasize resilience, mental well-being, and consistent support for young athletes. Trainrek aims to ensure that local athletes receive the same recruitment attention as those from out of state.

In terms of competition, Trainrek stands out as they claim to be the only training facility focused on speed and agility in the area. The competitive edge lies in the founder's unique experience as a former NFL player and involvement with high-profile athletes, enabling them to teach elite techniques learned from seasoned professionals.

  • Funding Usage

The funds will be used to buy a building and provide the best equipment possible for our WV athletes to become the best athlete and person possible. We will be able to provide training for a lot of athletes that can’t afford the training. Also it will allow us to help bring guys like Randy Moss and Carl Lee to be apart of bringing the NFL mindset to a state of a art facility. We want to provide tutoring for all kids as well to make sure our academics are above par.

  • Business Plan

We plan to expand in the Charleston area to provide athletes of all ages a safe state of the art facility to train. We want to also expand to Huntington as well I believe in helping the the state as a whole. As we expand hopefully we can have high schools practice and train at our facility. As we demonstrate the success of each valley we want to expand to training big time athletes from all across the country. Not only bring revenue to Trainrek but to WV as well I’m all about the future. The youth are the next leaders of our lifetime and the discipline through athletics applies to life. Every let down is a chance to bounce back and grind harder. I build our young women and men with strong minds to where they will never give up. Mental health is a real illness and having someone that believes in you no matter what others say goes along way. WVU and Marshall are our big schools and I want our athletes recruited just as hard as they recruit out of state athletes.

  • Self Identified Competition

I don’t know anyone that trains speed and agility here I’m different I played in the NFL in 2007 and arena football league for 4 years. No one can do what I do because they haven’t been where I’ve been. I’m constantly going around the country learning different techniques. Rod Woodson former Steelers great is one of my good friends. We do a camp every year at the canton hall of fame stadium. I learn from hall of fame football players and I teach those techniques to our WV athletes
